This place is one of underrated restaurants in Newark. Their poke bowl will surely surprise anyone with pure yummy taste. However, service is below par. I ordered 7 bowls for pick up and asked for individual carrying bags and extra eel sauce in each one. Both of requests were not done even after clear request and confirmation by person on the phone. Very dissapointed.

I celebrated my graduation last night in this excellent restaurant. Well it was a fantastic evening and the venue was definitely one of the reasons for that happy evening. Found this place inside 1 Gateway Center - taking AMTRAK into and out of Newark. Have been looking for a takeout alternative to McDonald's for the train. Go through Doubletree Hotel or through the walkway over the Train station driveway and this small restaurant is in the hallways between the buildings. A few small tables along the wall, but take-out seems to be their business. Simple menu, not many items beyond sushi. Ordered once a three-sushi take-out and another a two-sushi take-out. Fish seem fresh, rice flavorful. The three-sushi was though jammed into a takeout tray that a bit too small so the pieces were jammed together like sardines which makes it difficult to eat on a train. Drinks are cheaper than other places nearby. Definitely consider this place in the future.
