Went to grab a bite before an NJPAC event. Great service from Bernardo! Food was great. Wings were excellent. Salad was a bit small for the price. Overall great experience.

We attended a concert recently at New Jersey performing arts center and this was our first time there. This was the best preshow dining experience that we’ve ever had. And we go to many many shows and have for years. Cassandra was our server and she and her team were very patient when needed, but also extremely attentive. The manager also came by to make sure that everything was all right as well. We were very surprised that there was no drop off on level of service, food quality, etc. as the pre-show crowds came in and filled the place. A very well run restaurant that we will certainly use anytime we are there.

Food was very good however service was close to non existent. We were seated on time however we waited 20 minutes for the waiter to come by. We ordered drinks and food at that time since we had so much free time to look over the menu. Food arrived timely. The waiter never came by after the food delivery. We finished our meal and runners cleared the table still no waiter. We wanted to order desert but it was now 20 minutes to show time. I finally caught the waiters attention and just asked for the check we paid and left. 1 hour and twenty minutes from the time we were seated until we left. Saw the waiter 3 times come to our table and one of them was after I got his attention. It is probably a nice place to have dinner as long as you aren't in a hurry.

The meal started out well with a good Caesar Salad, and great Spring Vegetable Soup. The entree that followed Steak Frites were not the strips of steak I envisioned but rather a small steak in a gravy, the best of the dish was “fries” curls of potatoes lightly fried a crisp shell with a soft mashed potato creamy inside. The bottom line steak OK...Fries Great! Service from our waiter was good, it his manager who while making the round to see if everything was OK, did we needed anything. He noted my drink was near empty, Did I need another? Yes changing from on local craft beer to another... it never arrived. The meal ended on a very high note with a Chocolate coconut bread pudding that was exceptional!

Pleasant welcoming smiles from the moment we pulled into the parking lot to the hostesses, bartender and dinner servers made this a perfect dinner experience ahead of the concert. A cocktail at the bar before dinner was a nice start followed by a great dinner in the restaurant. (I need that biscuit recipe!) We were excited to learn Nico is not just for the event dates so we'll be back for a great Happy Hour and Dinner without breaking the bank.
I came with my family and it was amazing. The Wings Hot Honey are mouthwatering. The staff was really welcoming as soon as I stepped foot inside. I didn't have to wait long for our server to come to the table. I definitely had an amazing dining experience. Everything was 10/10 would recommend.

Food was Delicious and Drinks ? were Great! The restaurant manager Brian Lopez was very accommodating and even offered free Desserts and Coffee which was very much appreciated! Will definitely be back!

We ate here in November before a show and had a very good meal with attentive service. We did not have a reservation so we were seated on the "bar" side. We enjoyed happy hour drink prices and a full menu. I had pasta, my dining partner had steak. It was very good.Fast forward to February. We were looking forward to another great meal at Nico before an NJPAC show. We were seated at the same table and noticed the same waiter. This time we sat for 10 minutes before we were offered water by a server. The waiter came over to take our drink order. We declined an alcoholic drink and asked for a full menu. He explained that they only offer snacks on the bar side and he'd be back to take out order. We waited about 10 minutes but he never came back so we left.

Great choice if you are going to a show at NJPAC. The menu is limited but the food is excellent. The homemade biscuits are incredible. The service was terrific. I'd eat here every time I'd be going to NJPAC
VERY disappointed!! Food was mediocre at best. Service was uneven, sometimes confused. This long time patron may need to find alternative to this very convenient restaurant for NJPAC shows.

I ordered the grilled chicken plate, although tasty, there was definitely too much chicken—two combined leg/thighs and 2 half breasts. Who can eat those portions. Fortunately I asked for a container and took most of home, having checked the bag in the coat check room and retrieved it after the performance. My suggestion modify your proportions. None of us “works in the fields” and needs that quantity of food for sustenance.

We were amazed at how efficiently this restaurant ran after getting slammed once the NJPAC show let out; kudos to the staff who were able to handle the crowded restaurant! Only thing to note was the Cesar salad was a bit underwheming... otherwise everything was spot on and the staff deserves much credit!
