Went before a Devils game. Not a lot of burger choices and many more pizza options. The kitchen got backed up by 40 minutes and it took almost an hour for my pizza to come out and almost 45 minutes for a single slice for my daughter.

Cashier Matt was very rude ! I just wanted my chicken well done ! He refused to service me after I received my food and it was not to my liking ! Customer service plays a big part in these type of jobs ! He failed in that department!! Please treat your customers better ! Thank you

Great place for a bite to eat before a Devil's game. It wasn't extremely crowded like places nearby and we were able to get a great meal and drinks, friendly service.

Wow! Great burgers. The music was amazing and the staff is friendly and service was quick. 100% recommended for before a Devil's game.Vegetarian options: They have a veggie burger (portobello mushroom burger) and pizza.

HORRIBLE SLOW SERVICE .... WAITED OVER 30 MINUTES FOR THREE HOT DOGS AND CHEESE FRIES .... HOT DOGS WEREN'T EVEN AS HOT AS THEY SHOULD OF BEEN AND THE CHEESE FRIES CAME WITH NO CHEESE .... DO BUT RECOMMEND ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE ON YOUR LUNCH BREAK ....

3.5 It's a solid spot but nothing spectacular. Quick service which was important to us before a Devils game at Prudential Center. They have 5 beer bucket for $20 which was nice. Burgers were flavorful but cooking temp was not medium rare as requested. The patty was somewhere between thin and thick, neither a smash burger nor some juicy. Toppings were good but overall for $18 I expected a bit more. Staff was friendly and accommodating but they were out of napkins and ketchup on basically all the tables near us.
Angie is a new bartender and she is GREAT!! Her martinis are more than on point. In addition she brings customer service to a new level here. I hope she never leaves!!!

The other day I got, Novelty Burger & Bar, for dinner. I ordered their, All The Way Burger (Medium Rare) w/ Fries, Secret Sauce, and drinks. The burger’s flavor was phenomenal. The chili was an excellent addition to the burger, but really could not taste the flavor of the chili, when tasted alone. The ATW Burger also came with onions and lettuce. The additions of raw onion and lettuce brought out satisfying textures to the burger, and also served as an excellent compliment. Their secret sauce is phenomenal as well. Not a huge fan of fries, but absolutely ate all of them, with their sauce! Totally wish I could remember the name of the blue drink, but it was really good as well. All in all, from customer service, to food quality, the ambience, and how the total experience adds up. Would highly recommend, Novelty Burger & Bar, to anyone in the Newark Area looking for some quality food!

Fries were really good.Burgers came out overcooked, Pasta was dry and had no flavor and there was a fly in my red wine.
