Place looks nice but I should have known the place was going to be bad when they don't have draft beer! They only serve canned beer and not even in a glass. They serve it in a plastic cup. That right there was a red flag. We ordered 2 appetizers 2 beers and a glass of wine which came out to about $80.00. The worse part is the portion size was so small for the calamari that we ordered and the chicharron was mainly fat. Definitely would choose another place to go to instead of this one.

I stopped by here for dinner after flying in from LA. I walked in and was quickly greeted and seated. I checked out their menu and found plenty of tempting choices but decided on the steak fajitas. I was very pleased with the taste and portions. While waiting for my meal, which wasn't long, I spoke with Arturo who told me the restaurant is fairly new and co owned by the chef. They recently relocated from an established restaurant in New York, the name escapes me. If you are in the area and in the mood for some good Hispanic food and music, I recommend you stop in and give them a try! I'm glad I did!

My mistake.Well, the water was ok and the drinks ok. The wait staff wasn't able to explain the menu to us, so when we asked about it we got no real answers. Now I know why. The food was horrible.We had the flank steak, which was shredded meat that tasted like it was from a can or cooked three days ago. It looked like mashed meat parts that were dumbed on a plate - and tasted like it too. The salmon was cooked ok, but the sauce (which I asked to be put on the side, but was ignored) was awful.It was so bad, we both had horrible stomach issues immediately after eating the food.Was hoping to find a good eatery in Newark, but this was NOT it.
