I saw a lot of people inside so I took it as a good sign. I was told they only accepted cash or Apple Pay, a little inconvenient, but w/e. I ordered pollo saltado, noodles & shrimp, shrimp rolls and 1 pork Bao. Total $57-60. I waited 50 mins for take out, but figured the food would be worth it.(4/10)Saltado is my go to Peruvian dish. This was bland no flavor.(4/10)Noodles and shrimp were ok in flavor(5/10)Rolls were ok (shrimp tempura)(3/10)Bao buns had a small amount of meat, not very flavorful.Pros: lot of variety on menu, decent portionsCons: quality, price point,experience.Of course this is downtown Newark, I’m born and raised(Brick City baby), so I’m not considering the area, homeless coming in to beg while ppl eat etc. Just the food, price and experienceOpen to give it another shot, maybe wrong day and items ordered.Also there’s a broken floor tile directly where you stand in front of the cashier…I don’t care but that’s not ok.

I mean, the sushi wasn't good. The tuna was chewy and stringy with a lot of "silver skin", and simply didn't taste very good. Way too much rice in both the nigiri and the maki, and the rice was also mushy and bland. I ended up throwing out like half of it. But, the presentation/packaging is nice, and the prices are pretty cheap. I would still go somewhere else though and pay more for more edible sushi. If I were to come back, I would definitely avoid the raw fish.

There a hole in the middle of the floor. And you can’t avoid it.. like it’s exactly where you stand to pay for your items. They added gratuity to our bill even though we saw the waitress two whole times. There was another customer (or someone who worked there on break) taking up the biggest table and having a speakerphone conversation about personal family stuff, and no one on staff asked her to take it outside or anything. The food was good enough to come back but everything else feels like a hazard. Take your chances on Uber eats and save some money.

THE SAUTED LOIN SUSHI HAS NEVER BEEN LIKE THIS, a sushi is everything in one bite, but they gave me a ball of rice at the bottom, and the whole loin on top, nothing in sushi, NOTHING, 17 dollars for this, it's not worth it, just They did it to comply, this does not exist in Peru, and it is not sushi at all, clearly I would not return and I would not recommend it, an insult to Peruvian food.

I went in to order had to zelle my payment.. music way to loud and waited 30 mins for uncooked sushi and got 20 pieces and 2 soy sauce packets and smallest amount of wasabi has to go backto ask for more..then got home and rice was so soggy and ruined the meal.. I truly feel they should probably stick to one food genre and leave other alone

Awful. I don't normally leave bad reviews but I was compelled to. Ordered take-out via UberEats. Arrived 5 minutes after the app said my order was ready. They LIED. They did NOT even start my order when I arrived at the store. Told me to wait 5 minutes... Another lie, it took at least 15 minutes to finally get my order. Oh and the burrito I wanted was out of stock or they just didn't want to make it. Tapioca bubbles in the bubble tea was stale and grainy. Sushi burrito was alright.
