I ordered the chicken and lamb platter it was very good and fresh. Definitely tasted better than all the others I’ve tried. And the prices are very reasonable I paid under $10 I’ll be returning

Pretty above average halal lamb over rice. I would double check your order before leaving since items was missing in my order. Also if you pay with card there's an extra charge.

This truck is right in the NJIT campus. You can find it by the long lines next to the truck. The lamb (gyro meat) over rice is very good, it tastes like it was homemade and not the generic factory ones. The long grain basmati is a standout and sets itself apart from the other trucks. The white sauce is a bit heavy like it was just Mayo thinned out with water. Also the hot pepper flakes is not spicy at all. Also I don't think they have the usual Halal truck hot sauce since he never puts any in when I order which is a missed opportunity since I love spicy foods.

Was not worth 10 dollars. Originally thought the lamb and steak platter would come with a salad for that price because it literally said it does. Apparently I was handed it without and the quality was not worth it and probably purposely forgot the salad. Just go to a more well known halal place.
Okay, we've been coming to this truck since 2008 or so, when my son was a student at NJIT.I'm going to say that the best food here are the platters, especially the chicken platter; unfortunately my son insisted on the Samosa Tikki Sandwich. It was good, but the platters, with extra white sauce, and a sprinkle of red pepper, is worth the visit. Enjoyed the sandwich. The picture is only a fourth of the sandwich.
