cool little lunch joint.. decent food, good service. Nick's (down the street) is good too, but I usually go with this place. More of a variety of food, and room to sit and eat if you prefer.
Fantastic Brazilian cafe and luncheonette in South Ironbound. Daily blackboard specials indicate what you should be getting. Prices are very affordable, portions are plenty, and the food is home-made and delicious. On my trip, their daily special offered bobo de camarao. A traditional shrimp stew which resembles gumbo. It was absolutely divine. After 4pm, they serve espetinhos, grilled skewers of meat directly from their outside grill.
