Yes, gentleman who helped was rude and rushing us at checkout. I should’ve cancelled at that point. The rice was hard, no flavor and the shrimp in the California roll smelled bad. Gross! Waste of money. Never again!!!

Rice is pretty bad. The box leaks soy sauce. The fish is somewhat fresh, but with the frozen taste. At $16 for 4 pieces it should be better.

They have a chef making rolls, so you would assume it would be fresh. Nope. The sushi rice has been in that fridge for days. Worst sushi and the price is not worth it. And packing the sushi rolls into the little box is odd.

Keep walking. This place gives gas station sushi a bad rap. Ice cold, just like the 'chef' behind the counter. Horrible taste that not even soy sauce and wasabi can cover up. I've had food court sushi before and this is by far the worst. Ate a few bites and tossed it in the trash. You're welcome.

I highly recommend to change the staff here. The staff service was really bad. Also, I have never seen they served miso soup. I can’t believe the stuff is imported from Japan.

I mean what do you expect. I enjoyed the selections they had and the different varieties they offer. I just think overall it's expensive and not worth for the price. I also got the seaweed salad and it wasn't anything special either.

Two words: not good. I don't understand the PR around this place. Sure, the fish on the nigiri is pretty good, but the rice is hard and clumpy. Also overpriced. I mean I know it's the airport, but the value is just not there. Don't bother.Edit: this review was previously two stars, but after further reflection I can't justify such awful rice.

Okay, the gentleman here appears helpful but makes actions towards customers that displays prejudice and bias toward black folks. He shared with me how to get the order for pieces for the box. However, him following me to the cash register and inspected my order which was completely unacceptable and uncalled for at the time. Also, the crab roll was hard and disappointing.I love sushi but never will I eat here again due to his behavior. I can not support anyone who doesn’t see the prejudicial behavior here. Another customer which was white perceiving was not even spoke to by him.Newark reign your employees and establishments in. LaGuardia is beginning to outpace you again!

Comically horrid service. In a good market clearly designed to checkout after collecting all of your food, the sushi chef started yelling to get me to pay at the end near them. Rude, disrespectful, clearly lacking knowledge of how there own setup works. Save yourself the hassle of being verbally abused on your travels for no apparent reason, sushi was nothing to write home about.

Least impolite staff. They tried to tell me 3 times how many sushi per box. The rice is frozen hard.

One word - Disgusting. A few more words - $15 of disgusting sushi. $15 for 8 pieces of disgusting sushi.
