Theft. We ordered food, paid about $60 and no one came out of the kitchen for 45 minutes until our boarding was done and started to yelling at them. Then they came out and promised to return our money, which they never returned. Give us our money back!

As a customer wearing a special needs lanyard I wasn't feeling very well. I was using a fan to try to cool down. Before ordering i went to the bar asked the male collecting glasses if I could have a glass of water as I wasn't feeling well. He said I couldn't as it could only be the female server who could give me some water. I asked the female server for some water as I wasn't feeling well and she said that she had a long list of things to do before she could even think of getting me some water. I left the restaurant. Shocking! (Server with red streak in hair)

My partner and I needed something to eat before our flight, Belgian beer and the universal times were the only options for sit down food in terminal B. We went to Belgian beer because the menu looked ok. We waited about 20 minutes to get a seat (it was busy only due to lack of choice for passengers) Whilst waiting we asked if we could sit in the large empty seating area but we’re bluntly told by the young female waitress “area closed”. We ended up sitting at a table that had dirty plates and napkins. There was no one cleaning the tables or clearing them. We waited another 20 minutes and were then told by the same waitress “drinks only” without explanation. As I asked my partner if she wanted a drink the waitress just walked away. From looking at the menu it is pretty standard with burgers etc but for two people to have a semi filling meal and a drink of juice you’d be looking at a minimum of $50.00 which is crazy. We ended up just leaving and getting some cold snacks at the “new stand” which sufficed. I imagine the only reason this place is still in business and getting away with the dreadful service and prices is because it’s got a trapped market. I would suggest eating before hand or taking your business elsewhere as this establishment clearly doesn’t value your custom. I have never left a bad review on trip advisor until now as I am easily pleased and understanding but felt the need to warn people to avoid this place. Airport needs to do better to provide for its passengers!

I ordered a simple fries and a lemonade. Should have charged me no more than $20. When I got home my bank showed I was charged $60!! Keep your receipts! This place steals money! There was only 1 waitress for the whole shop. Get your bill early if you need to rush for the flight.

This place is a disgrace. One server taking care of tables and the bar; dirty plates and glasses everywhere (not her fault). Customers backed up. Newark Airport should revoke their contract. Absolutely disgusting. All kinds of fancy drinks on the menu…god help us if she has to take the time to make one. I gave it a 1 because there is no place to give zero. Management should be replaced.

Worst place in terminal B. The staff was rude and disrespectful. To whenever manages this restaurant, you should remind your staff that respecting clients is the minimum in business. We sat to order, the app did not work. We asked for help and we got yelled at because they knew it was not working and that someone would come to the table to take our order. 40 min later nobody came. We ended up leaving without getting a single glass of water.

2 workers. A young male and a blonde female. No other staff and it was so busy. Our table was still dirty from previous customers. We had to ask staff to clear it which they did but they didn't clean it. We did that ourselves. We noticed other customers having to do the same. The male worker was nice, quiet, but polite. The female worker not helpful at all. Snappy at customers. Once we got our food we had to ask for a service to our table every time we wanted another drink. When it came to asking for the bill we had to wait too long for staff to appear. This place wasn't clean, was extremely understaffed and fairly overpriced. We left and went to the other bar at the airport. Extremely disappointing experience

Probably the worst service I have ever experienced ever. Waitress/bartender actively discouraging people from buying food which apparently starts after 3pm but people asking about it 30 Mins beforehand were not encouraged to wait or informed about this, just told “only drinks”. Then comes the drink at crazy prices in plastic glasses. That’s bad when you are having a beer but the girl next to me who ordered a glass of wine and received a plastic glass was not enjoying life. The bartender was on her phone the whole time I was there. No attempt to be friendly to any customer. Then comically the draft beer stopped Working in all taps and it was tools down for 30 mins. Genuinely a horrible experience which could have been so much better with even the slightest bit of care. The only reason I am putting this on Tripadvisor, it’s years since I wrote a review, is that there wasn’t a sign anywhere of anyone who cares in the restaurant. Shocking. Horrific.

The sign on the door may say open from 1:00 to 10:00 p.m., but in actuality the staff there can show up and open the doors whenever they damn well feel like it. Today they opened at 1:45pm. pathetic

BEWARE. My tip amount was increased! I almost always leave 20%. I used to be a waitress so I understand how little they are paid in base pay - and how much one can earn with enough customers who order enough food :). Anyway, it took forever to get service and I was served my $30 (low-quality, overpriced) meal with plastic cutlery so I felt like it was more of a mix between fast food and restaurant service and as such, I gave a tip of 15% (which also included my $10 canned beer). And my daughter ordered "Belgium waffles" and got what looked like frozen off-brand Eggo waffles from the grocery store! (That was above and beyond the $30 I spent for my meal).) Well the waitress apparently CHANGED the tip to reflect 25%!! I usually never check my receipts but I had a funny feeling about this one and I was right!

Stopped here after clearing security on our way to Ireland. The service was beyond slow. Waited 10 minutes for us each to get our first beer. Then were ignored several times as we wanted to order another beer and an order of fries. As if the bad service wasn't enough, when we got the check, imagine our surprise when the bill for 4 beers and an order of fries came to $103. I know it is the airport and you pay a premium, but what the hell. It is no wonder why the newspapers have run stories on the price gouging going on at EWR

If you love being served literal eggos for 11.99 then this is the place to go. The menu said it was a “Brussels waffle”… truly ridiculous. Food is really bad. Stick with a vending machine.

This place was definitely one of the top 10 worse place I've been to. We sat down ready to order and the waitress came over, she had an attitude as though we were interrupting her Instagram time. After we got our order and starting to eat, I found hair in my food and naturally lost my appetite. I wanted to bring this to the attention of someone but no employee to be found. We finished and waited for a bill about 20mins. So finally I got tired of waiting and went to get our waiter, she was sitting on the other side of the restaurant on the phone talking to someone. Mind you now, there were other patrons who sat down with their family waiting this entire time. The waitress that served us had blond hair at the time.

Little bar that is located just inside the security gates at the B terminal. Nice relaxed atmosphere and the service is good.

Get a panini. The cold sandwiches leave MUCH to be desired! They were nasty!
