This place is great. Food is amazing. Great place to stop on the way home from the beach. I recommend the crab cake sandwich and the Penguin Dog, with some cheese fries and a jumbo extra thick shake.

My wife and I found this place while out on a drive. We were looking for food so we decided to give it a try. At first it seemed like nothing special, and the menu was in great need of a reprint. We got hot dogs, a mushroom burger, and fries. After a brief wait the owner (?) brought us our food. When we started eating and were extremely pleased: the food is VERY good. If you are driving to Ocean City or Somers Point, give this place a try. I will definitely be back.

It is located on the side of the highway on the way to the shore but don't let the location throw you off! In our family, stopping here has become a tradition over the summer as we head to the beach.They have a big menu of ice cream treats and hot food. There is no where else worth stopping on this stretch of the trip. We see the Purple Penguin and we know that we are about halfway there (from Delaware).Try their soft-serve! It's underrated. They also have really great cheesesteaks and burgers. Spend some time on the playground out back. I am so happy to see they are still open.Take a pit stop at the Purple Penguin before you get to your destination!

This place is certified fire. Me and the gf got two penguin dogs and sweet potatoes fries for lunch and split a cone. It had surprisingly well seasoned fries and flavorful vanilla ice cream. You cannot pass on stopping here for something.

The sweetest owner took our order and helped us navigate the menu. We got a 18" steak and cheese with old bay fries. Ice cream was incredible too, even in the rain.
