Small buffet selection but not a terrible one. We didn't feel rushed here (some places rush you out), the food was mostly good. It's worth a re-visit.

horrific crowd. it used to be very nice and lowkey and now it is full of inconsiderate people. People coughing all over the food or just being really loud. Ho Ho V used to be my all time favorite buffet, and now I won’t even go. I don’t know what’s going on but until things change in there with the people, i’m not going.

Ordered steamed dumplings and chicken with garlic sauce. The dumplings came without the sauce which bothered me. Started eating the dumplings and bit into a FINGER NAIL!!!!!!! Needless to say it all went right into the garbage. So much for

Not the best Chinese around but the buffet is a great deal if you are hungry

Not a huge buffet but it doesn’t matter because it is always consistently good and fresh. Great prices. The owners are very nice and attentive. I’ve eaten here many times now and it’s always good.

OK, so I've been meaning to try this place for a while and I did. All I can say is, "VERY Disappointing". Overall rating_D. I'll break it down: Spring rolls-Best part of the meal but kind of mushy inside like veggie mixture came out of the freezer (C-). Steamed Dumplings- Not too bad but slightly chewy. The dipping sauce was disgusting (D-). Dragon and Phoenix- General Tao's chicken was soggy and lacking of flavor. I asked for Xtra spicy and there was not one red pepper in the meal (F). There are not a lot of options in Newton but do NOT go here!

Fresh minimal classics.First off, this place is fantastic. I am always very considerate in my take out decisions as I cook most meals at home. Tonight my family ordered pan fried dumplings (perfectly seared, not oily), shrimp fried rice (tasty and fresh, cleaned shrimp), chicken chow mein (tender chicken, fresh vegetables, not salty), General Tso’s chicken with pork fried rice (tender crispy chicken, sauce was not thick or sugary like most places). The food overall is delicious and not overly salted. The location was very clean on the inside. I did not eat at the buffet, but it looked clean and fresh. There were patrons taking out as well as dining in. I will be eating here from now on. Check it out!
