I visited the Tavern on Friday evening, the atmosphere was good, the service was very good as well. Unfortunately the only thing that was a major turn off the bathroom knob was broken and I realized after I locked it and a man open the door. Not only so but tried to enter the restroom with me in it. That that’s the biggest turn off of this place the lack of privacy was not good for me. I would bust but I will never use the restroom again. The chances of me returning are 4/10

So, me and my friend from Guyana decided to play some music but wasn’t feeling too comfortable because the security and the people around the bar were watching us very oddly. When we decided to buy drinks, we were told we have to leave with no explanation whatsoever. We were treated unfairly and felt that we were being racially profiled. Never again will I go back to this bar. It’s not a friendly aura at all based on the experience that I had.

This place gives off racist vibes from the manager to the security. I went in there with my female friend and she happened to be a Latina. I had other friends that came through and they were black and Indian. Soon as the manager saw them, he wanted to give them a hard time by asking them questions about why they came to the bar. It was very odd for the manager to approach my friends with certain questions that’s not related to their services of the establishment. He ended up having the security to kick them out later on that night and they did not want to have any transparency on why they were being kicked out. Stay away from this bar! Go to One Republik instead.

I had a really bad experience with this place , manager Carlos and the bodyguard was very rude and racist towards me and my friends . They was trying to find a reason to kick us out, they didnt allow for us to play our music , charging us more than the others and they told us to not smoke even we been smoking outside in the street far from the patio . Very offensive toward us even if we asked to explain themself why we can not smoke cigarette in the street. We also filed a report with the police of north arlington for the situation .

My friend recommended me this places so i went there but i had a bad experience , they overcharged my drinks and the manager Carlos was rude when i tried to speak with him about it . The reason why i think that that place is racist because theres an option to play your music and when someone put spanish music the volume was good when i played some european music they lowered the volume i got mad never plan to go there again

Went on Sunday and had a really good bartender. Tried to go on Tuesday at around midnight and my friend and I asked the bartender if he was open. Nobody was there except for these 2 girls that the bartender was talking to. The bartender responds “nah not really”. I looked it up and it says you guys are open till 2 am. So I guess the guy behind the bar just wanted a little private venue to talk to the girls instead of actually doing his job. Supremely unprofessional. Never coming back.
