Cali girl first time in jersey, I heard Jersey pizza was amazing and I just had to try! The guys that work there are amazing, they made me feel like they were long time friends! And the food chefs kiss I just had to have a slice as soon as I got in my car! I’m gonna be thinking of this pizza forever. Thanks for the great conversation and amazing food

These are the pizza shops that are fading away. THE REAL DEAL! Frank's uses good sauce, good cheese and his dough recipe is on point. The pizza taste of the good old days is still around but you have to find them. A treasure hunt for your palate. You'll be attended to and served by the owner, who hasn't lost his touch after all these years in the business. The ambience is of a proud Italian who is about to make you some damn good pizza. FUHGEDDABOUDIT! Come in, sit down and mangiare. Yummy Tummy

On saturday, i placed an order fir pizza via Door Dash. I was charged for the order and of course I paid it. I find out a short while later, that Frank's pizzeria "adjusted" the amount and charged me nearly $7 more! They did not reach out to me to ask if this was ok, or if i wanted to cancel the order. They also did not explain why they charged me more money. I reached out to Door Dash and they were absolutely no help. I am requesting Franks to reaxh out to me and orovide me with an explanation and a refund. What they did is fraudalent advertising and theft through deception. I winder how many other people they have done this to, who either dont know or just dont have the time and engery to file a review.

i've been passing by frank's for years and always wanted to give them a chance. they're a not-so-modern establishment in a wonky location so i assumed if they managed to stay open they'd have to be good, right? the man who picked up the phone was very engaging and made me feel appreciated as a customer. i ordered a large cheese pizza with half pepperoni but got pepperoni on the whole pie even though the receipt reflects a half-pie topping charge. was kinda annoying cus i hate pepperoni but there's more serious matters going on in the world-- i'll be fine. the pizza wasn't burnt on the bottom AT ALL, the slices were perfectly baked and i know that because when i picked up a slice and folded it in half, it didn't flop not one bit. 10/10 the crust was doughy enough to bite into without sending crumbs everywhere but had enough crunch to feel well done and not under baked. i personally find the sauce to be sliiiightly runny but i only have that complaint because i ordered garlic knots as well and had a side cup of marinara to dip them in. on the slice the marinara was fine and went with the cheese and dough well. i just don't like it as a dipping agent tbh. the garlic knots weren't a hit in my house but they weren't bad. i've just had better. loved the pizza, loved the customer service, and the delivery guy was nice as well. will be ordering again in the future.

Disappointing Experience - Overcharged and Allergic Reaction RiskI recently ordered two small pizzas from your establishment and was dismayed to find that I was charged $37 instead of the advertised $25 on your menu. It seems the menu is not accurately updated. Moreover, despite clearly specifying my onion allergy, one of the pizzas was loaded with onions, putting me at risk of an allergic reaction. This negligence is unacceptable. This experience has left me thoroughly dissatisfied, and I won’t be patronizing your establishment again. I hope these issues can be addressed to prevent similar incidents in the future.

Frank's catered my wedding and the food was amazing!!! Accommodated everything and asked questions to make sure I was happy with everything before they gave it to me. I couldn't ask for a better experience!!

Holly pizza. This place is fantastic. I mean really really fantastic. You can tell the rich history. Crust was crispy. Wings had amazing flavor. The guys working here were cool. I googled top 10 pizzas. This didn't come up. I went to some of the top 10 places. This place is better. Hands down better. I'm sure I'll made another stop before I leave. Loved it!

Cheese pizza tasted a bit funny and old. Now I’m throwing up from having a couple bites of it. Cooks should make sure they’re not using expired cheese or cheese left out all day ??

My favorite NY style pizza place in the area. Authentic and flavorful pizza for a decent price. Both the flat crust and Tuscan style are solid. I usually just get a single slice of cheese or pep after a few beers at a nearby brewery. The restaurant itself has a cool/authentic vibe and the workers are always friendly.

Updated 7/23:Original posting:The only thing more depressing than eating there is the pizza.Go literally anywhere else.Update, the owner (manager?) replied to this posting and asked me to give them another shot. I happened to be around there one day and wanting a slice, so I did. That’s ok buddy, it’s on me (he offered to buy).Sadly, it’s really no different. If anything, it’s saltier. You can’t really taste much else. The cheese is rubbery and you really can’t taste the sauce at all. The crust is chewy. This was my impression when I had a slice there, so I called and had a fresh pie delivered. It’s so salty and greasy from what seems like low quality cheese. Being fair, the rice balls are ok, and I’ve had a couple sandwiches too, that were decent. Nothing stands out though, it’s not so outstanding or even tasty that you’d want to go again. You don’t want to stay and eat there, it’s literally depressing. Since I was there last they painted it white, so now you can see more clearly how little they put into the decor. I’ve seen pizza places in way worse areas that look nicer. I mean come on guys, walk in any pizza place in the area. The staff do what they do, the younger crowd working nights seem to care a lot more than the older guy during the day.If you’re in the neighborhood and want a good slice, walk over to Tonnelle Ave and down three blocks to Nonna Maria, less than 5 mins away. The pizza is miles better, slices are bigger, the atmosphere is quite pleasant, and they don’t ask 3 bucks for a slice (the gall!).
