From the moment we walked in, it was clear that the staff lacked basic courtesy. Our waiter, (Nazim Ozkundakci) didn't even bother to greet us or offer a smile, instead, we were met with a disdainful expression that set the tone for the rest of the evening.To make matters worse, the service charge we were slapped with at the end of our meal was exorbitant (18%), considering the dismal service we received. It felt like a complete rip-off and left a sour taste in my mouth.Overall, I would strongly advise against dining at Istanbul Foodlovers. Save your money and go somewhere where they actually value their customers and provide service worthy of the price they charge.As a Turkish individual myself, I was appalled by the discriminatory treatment I received. Initially, upon entering, the staff seemed indifferent and failed to offer even a basic greeting. It was only after they assumed I wasn't Turkish that they begrudgingly brought out small appetizers, as if attempting to compensate for their lack of hospitality.However, once they learned of my Turkish background, their demeanor shifted drastically. Suddenly, there was an evident change in attitude, but it was not one of genuine hospitality; rather, it felt condescending and insincere.It's disheartening to see such discriminatory behavior in this day and age.In conclusion, I would strongly discourage anyone from patronizing Istanbul Foodlovers. Not only did they fail to provide adequate service, but their discriminatory actions cast a shadow over the entire dining experience. Discrimination has no place in any establishment, and it's deeply disappointing to encounter it here.We ordered: Iskender Kebab, Red Lentil Soup, Lahmajun, Baklava, and Turkish Tea

Me and my wife had food poisoning after eating İskender in this place. The food (İskender) was disgusting and it was a horrible experience. We haven’t been able to eat anything in the next two days because of the germs stored in the food.
