Well first let me say everything was awesome ?, service and food . We went in the middle of the day so there weren't many people there ,but they played great music ?? and didn't skimp on the service ???. Everything looked clean and the cocktail?are great ?? would definitely recommend and will be back .

This is by far one of my favorite places to visit. The food is awesome and the customer service is A1! My sister was visiting from Chicago so we along with my daughter grabbed a bite from here and was greeted by the co-owner Anoka Toson, what a amazing spirit! Anoka made us feel welcomed and told us all the new and exciting things headed for Arooga's ...and I can't wait to be apart of it.

The waitress did not write our order down. She was a very nice waitress but as someone who has worked in the service industry before I make sure to repeat the customers orders if I don’t write it down to ensure that the customers order is correct. Unfortunately when we asked for no cheese and our sliders and we ended up getting cheese. Mind you we were the only costumer there. We also ordered an electric lemonade which tasted great. We asked for a refill and when we got the refill the drink had a tiny fly on the lemon. I guess no one noticed it. It was very unfortunate. It’s interesting because my 1st experience here was great which is why I came back again, but it was very disappointing the 2nd time.

Food was delicious. Service was HORRIBLE! I was a server for 9 years and I’ve never experienced nor treated my guest the way we were taken care of. Not family friendly at all! When we ordered, it was as if we were a burden and when received the food she slammed the plates on the table, not to mentioned we waited for our check for over 10 min. She seemed disinterested and annoyed to be working. We were treated as if we were not welcomed. I know how hard it can be to service people but we were kind and nice, never once rushed her or disrespected her to receive that treatment. I always tip above 20% this is the first time I ever questioned leaving someone a tip as I know how hard this field is. She’s lucky we even left her anything because her service was TERRIBLE! Was even talking prior to arriving about catering from here for my daughters birthday, ABSOLUTELY NOT! WillNever return. How one person ruins it for all!

Just recently started coming here, & I had the most amazing server named Victoria she's the sweetest! Our server took care of our every need :) 10/10 customer service from the staff & everyone was just so welcoming. Quality of the food was great, along with the overall environment. Family-friendly and definitely worth a visit!

Honestly it was just fine. If you want some apps and drinks this is an ok place to go. Everything was pretty greasy and just not amazing. Had really high hopes. Liked the buffalo chicken wing pretzel but it was just fine. The wings I didn't love. The burger was a bit small. I did like the baked potato soup and would get that again

Loved The Location that was closed Down In Long Island! This location the food and drinks were okay! However the server was not attentive at all! Was planning on staying to watch the game but was so annoyed I decided to go elsewhere! Got my drink after my meal and had to ask for napkins! I was sitting right in front of her at the bar! So I gave the tip according to attention I got, NONE! Will not go here again!!!!

Turned from nice restaurant to a dirty, loud filthy bar hang out with a very bad atmosphere do not bring your family here at all---STAT AWAY!!--- also I posted a review similar to this and somebody from the company got in contact with me because they made it look good on yelp like they were they cared but in fact I answered him back and he just basically ghosted me
The waiters and waitresses have horrible attitudes. Always responding in a snarky and condescending attitude when asking for specials, what beers are on tap (as it is inconsistent), and complains to the customer for ordering. Some reason the manager is never in when a complaint wishes to be issued. This place has declined in customer service since it's opening.

4 years ago a visited Arooga’s for the first time & gave them 3 stars, now I’m back! I truly love this location, mainly due to the Comedy shows ( check Eventbrite). I haven’t had an opportunity to check out the Karaoke. They have great appetizers, however, the drinks seem better on non event nights. This is my second time coming to a comedy show & I had a great time both times. Arooga's is conveniently located on Route 22 East in North Plainfield. I just moved to the area a year ago, not much seems to go on in the this town outside of strip malls, so it's great to have some form of entertainment. As for the food, it's your typical bar food and appetizers; but they do have a great variety of plant-base & gluten-free food. The shows are reasonably priced and it's great to have something to do locally on my weekends. This is my new go-to spot when I need something to do on my days off. As for the crowd… so far it’s been a nice mature crowd & everyone seems to be just having a good time over all.
