“First time dining at Salt and we had an amazing time. We had clams and oysters as our small dish and that was absolutely perfect. For our main course I had the Black Sea bass over Risotto with asparagus and it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. My friend had the lobster and Risotto which I tried and it was also delicious. Finished off with espresso and dessert. Wait staff was top of the line, polite and smiling. Very attentive, and bathrooms were immaculate (very important to me). A completely perfect evening at a beautiful restaurant. Can’t say enough about Salt. Will be back soon…thank you Salt team!“

“I gave it 4 stars because I got the all you can eat and the gratuities were already on the bill and I didn't notice until after I got home so I tipped extra. It would be nice if they told you 2 people are automatic gratuity or all you can eat is automatic gratuity. They might be doing this for one person in the union location for all I know!“

“Wonderful birthday dinner with family. The fois gras was amazing. Everyone had different first courses but each one was so enjoyed-including mussels and salad. Main courses were all a treat. Especially the Dover Sole cooked and deboned tableside. So buttery delicious. The evening special of red snapper was excellent. The steak was perfectly prepared as was the chicken with a delicious sauce. Dessert included chocolate mousse - almost as thick as a pot de crème - such an indulgence. The soufflé was a black raspberry which you could smell prior to its appearance at the table. Yum!!!! Always delicious with wonderful service in a pretty dining area.“

“Made a reservation through Resy app and had no issues getting a table for 4. Upon arrival, there was plenty of free parking in their parking lot. We were greeted and promptly taken care of by our hostesses after walking in. After our group had all arrived, we decided to order a bunch of small plates and a couple pizzas, so as not to completly engorge ourselves. We ordered the Bao Buns, Chicharron Arancini, Buffalo Cauliflower, Salmon Crudo, Truffle Friesm Goat Cheese & Bacon Pizza, and Broken Burrata Pizza. Each bite was super flavorful and delicious. Our favorites were the Buffalo Cauliflower and Arancini. Both pizzas were also super tasty. The crunch of the thin crust made it so enjoyable. We ended our night with a sliver of Tiramisu. Just enough to finish off the meal without feeling overly stuffed. 10/10 would highly recommend.“

“I first came to this place a year ago for my birthday. I didn't come back because it brought back not-so-good memories of that year. Fast forward a year later and friend wanted to come and so I said ok, lets give it a go. It was a good decision. After waiting about 10 minutes to see the host/hostess, we were seated quickly upstairs. I cannot express how great the service was, from the bus boys to our great waitress, Allison (sp), who made the evening extra special. Both she and the boys made me blush and made that dining experience very memorable, so THANK YOU!The food were amazing. The bread was good. The appetizer we chose, I believe it was the octopus, was GREAT! I ordered the Jersey pizza and it was fresh and delicious. My friend ordered the Peppa Pig pizza and it sure was meaty. Both pizzas were actually large enough for two to share. My other friend ordered pasta and she seemed to have enjoyed it, and she ordered the half size so it was just the perfect portion for her. And for dessert, we had to order a cake... and it came with a surprise. A very pleasant surprise so again, THANK YOU very much to the staff. I just wish my mojito (or was it a margarita?) had less ice and more drink lol.So, from the atmosphere to the food and to the great staff, I'd definitely keep coming back again.“

“Great food and energetic environment. Worth every penny if you want good seafood as well as other great pasta dishes! Try the calamari, crispy lobster dumplings and Italian sausage appetizers, you can't go wrong with either one! The pappardelle bolognese is amazing, my favorite dish thus far. The surf & turf is amazing as well, it will not disappoint!“

“Definitely a five star experience!!! We arrived just before happy hour ended (4-5:30) and they were kind enough to place a quick order of oysters!!! They were super fresh and delicious... favs were west coast (sorry NJ). Next, came the Parker rolls!!! Probably my favorite part of the meal, but then again, who doesn't like homemade, freshly baked rolls with buttered top and a touch of salt!!! Because everything looked so good, we opted for a bunch of other appys to start! The New Zealand angus beef bites were served with horseradish aioli and a Parker roll, the halloumi cheese was accompanied by orange slices, prosciutto, radicchio and dehydrated olives. The octopus was spectacular... crispy with romanesco sauce, fried chickpeas, cilantro and paprika breadcrumbs. Of course, we had to also try the OHS mussel pot... with chorizo, saffron, garlic cream, sun dried tomatoes... and an herbed garlic roll on top!!! LOVED THEM ALL! It's not often that so many different, but complimentary flavors are presented in each dish!!! We could have stopped our meals there and would have been pleasantly satisfied and full! Next, we chose a couple of the sirloin sandwiches with fries, and the squid ink pasta with Calabrian chili and Meyer lemon breadcrumbs!!! All was very good. The evening was finished with 3 of their delicious desserts... the lemon meringue tart was the perfect sweet with a pucker. The molten dark chocolate cake was decadent. And the trio of gelatos were each so uniquely flavorful and delicious! Wow!!! Given that 100 steps is a BYOB, it makes everything even more affordable! We had spectacular service in this beautiful restaurant with amazing food! It was quite a special evening!“

“I was impressed with this restaurant, we enjoyed the food as well as the ambiance and service. I came for a business lunch. Ate inside the porch area that was enclosed. I thought the service was very good in terms of attentiveness. The food we got was flat bread pizza for appetizer, pepperoni with hot honey was delicious. The burger tasted great cooked perfectly when I ordered a medium, presentation was nice as I ordered a salad instead of French fries. Most importantly they had Aqua Pana for water. I did think the prices were a bit inflated and expensive however their service made up for it.“

“The Carriage House Restaurant is literally steps from the PaperMill Playhouse. Great to stop in prior to a performance. The atmosphere is best described as "cozy and rustic". I've stopped in about 2-3 times for drinks and appetizers. The food has always been very tasty. Little on the pricey side. On a positive note, you're only a few steps away from the theater. As of now, I've had Chicken Sausage Appetizers and a Steak Quesadilla. Nice wine and cocktail list. We've enjoyed their wine and cocktails on a previous visit. In December '23, I had an issue making reservations. Left two telephone messages and never received a call back. I couldn't even make a reservation on Opentable or Resy. We stopped in and informed the hostess of the issue. Anyway, we ended up eating at the bar. The Carriage House Restaurant does offer Cabaret and Murder Mystery shows.“

“I recently attended an event here where we primarily stayed outside on the patio. The food served was great and the atmosphere was fun and inviting. The outside bar served our needs and we had a great time. The only issue is there is not enough parking but you can park next door in the corporate plaza with no issues. Thanks.“

“My family and I were big fans of this restaurant but today’s meal for some of us was somewhat disappointing. I was also surprised how high the prices have gotten on many of the more simple fare dishes - especially for Sunday lunch. Like $22 for a grilled chicken sandwich and almost $40 for crab cakes. We usually dine at similar restaurants but prices here seemed higher than average while dining in a tent with exposed plywood. Many times we had to search for a server and the apple cobbler in a nutshell - was terrible. It was like eating an undercooked mouthful of raw batter with cooked apples. Honestly- the house has some work to do if they want to charge these prices . I mean, I have had wonderful experiences here before, but today missed the mark.“

“Always a great time here, food is delicious and the alcohol is actually good. Never felt sick after drinking margs here even the next day. The food is large portions and always delicious. Recommend getting apps and margs then sharing tacos because we always fill up after we ate that. The wait typically isn’t bad and there’s always been space at the bar to wait. Would recommend it here if you are looking for good Mexican food“
“Great selection of cocktails, wines, beers, etc! It's a small and cozy space with seating at the bar and smaller tables/barrels. There is a private room in the back that can be reserved as well. I tried the yuzu cocktail and it was light and refreshing. The margherita pizza was good as well. Service was quick and attentive. They also sell a limited selection of alcohol. Would definitely return!“

“This review is mainly about the bar and entertainment at Rocky's Bar and Grill. Since I have never eaten there (yet) I am not rating the food. First, with so many local bars having entertainment closing/closed since covid, I'm greatful for those surviving and some thriving providing musical entertainment whether it be karaoke, DJ or live music to its patrons. Been going to Rockys, which is about 25 miles away for me for years on occasion primarily to see classic and hard rock bands, mostly cover bands perform. There is ampke room between the band and patrons if they decide to dance and seating surrounding the open floor area. People attending all seem to be there to have a good time and have never seen any issues. The bar is not fancy and that's alright with me. They have a back area outside with tables for sitting, drinking, private conversation, smoking, etc. which works for me. There is a parking lot behind the bar and usually fills quickly when a band is playingweekend nights. The staff are attentive, hustle to serve everyone and are generally friendly. Drink prices are reasonable and pour seems standard for (my) mixed drinks. The bar reminds me a little bit like Moby's in Woodbridge but with more room to see/enjoy the band. If you're into live music I would recommend going to Rockys to see some of the local bands. Saw both Kathouse and Stereo Circus bands there and loved them both. Love a place that supports live music. Will be back!!“

“Hi Colleen & Oh’ Brian Staff,Thank you for everything YOU personally did to go above and beyond to make today happen for our family’s celebration. The atmosphere, the positive energy, level of preparedness, attentiveness to our guests were all amazing. Arriving at Oh’Brian’s from a solemn service to warm, welcoming staff was really wonderful. As guests arrived, they were brought to our private seating area and offered beverages and drinks from the bar. As people were greeting and gathering and getting situated, it was clear, staff was attentive and present. As discussed having the buffet style, everything was set and organized.People raved about the Garden Salad; The hot food entrees were phenomenal and plentiful; our guests felt comfortable heading up to get another plate. None of our guest felt rushed at any time and were grateful for being asked for drink refills. The bar service/staff was fantastic. The timing of the desserts was perfect. Despite the drizzly, dreariness of the day, guests took advantage of the canopied outdoor seating area-which is also lovely. We realize a restaurant works as a team, and this team was fabulous. Again, thank you, Colleen, for your open communications, input/feedback, flexibility and sharing various options for alternate layouts for accommodations. Again, planning something like this, there’s a deeper appreciation of having staff immediately demonstrate sincere kindness and understanding. Our family is truly grateful for the entire staff’s professionalism throughout this event. We would recommend Oh’ Brian’s for any family gathering, work event, get-together or to meet up with friends for food & drinks at this great, local place.Vegetarian options: Wide selection of various salad entreesMultiple vegetables side dishesGreat selection of pasta dishes with multiple choices of meatless sauces (marinara, pink vodka, etc)Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian options; dishes with meat could be prepared withoutSome Menu options are naturally gluten freeWide Variety of Salad ChoicesPlenty of pasta dishesPotatoes (not fried) gluten freeMeats- ask about specific marinades (some are gluten free)Chicken- can be grilled w/o marinade (GF)Parking: Gigantic, well lit, parking lot-Equipped with separate curb cuts with clear signage for entering and exiting the lotKid-friendliness: Kids’ menu/ relaxed environmentWheelchair accessibility: Many handicap parking spaces availableADA accessible rampNo stairs required to gain entry or entrance to dining areaRestrooms are also on the same main floor“

“Got there early on a Sunday with my wife and 2 small kids. We had then porterhouse for 2, garlic mash, broccoli rob, penne vodka w shrimp, and the lasagna. I wanted to love the place, but they fell short on the flavor of the food. We all liked our meal, but all agreed it fell short on the seasoning. They were just opening, so it's possible they gave us mash and lasagna from the day before and it was good but wasn't great. I do plan on going back to give it another go. The service was great and the dining room comfy. Not a bad experience. Worth a meal to try them out.“

“The food was great. I recommend getting the lobster fettuccine, short rib, and spicy calamari. We walked-in on a Friday night at 6pm and luckily we were able to get a table but I'm sure if we came later we might have had to wait so I would recommend getting a reservation since this seems like a popular place. My kids seemed to really enjoy the food too especially the desserts! You have to try the cinnamon roll bread pudding a la mode! ? If nothing else, get the bread pudding.“

“There were a couple of parties going on, with children who were loud. The restaurant is loud! But the food was excellent. We were celebrating a birthday, but besides wishing her a happy birthday as we signed in, nothing "special" was done. They did not have the ribs that were on the menu, and that was a bit of a disappointment.“

“Attractive restaurant, close proximity to the state theater, the reason for my choosing it, with nice ambiance, and an Attentive staff. “My manbun chum and I have been trying to find a home to watch our one March Madness game every year, and I think we found it for the foreseeable future. In fact, this time it looks to be a literal home.We stopped by last night to watch my beloved Gonzaga Bulldogs end their tournament run against Purdue. I could go into quite a bit of detail about some very shady calls in the paint and what I think should have been a taunting foul on Purdue's future proctologist Fletcher Loyer, but I digress. As soon as I walked in, I could tell I was going to like it. Prior years have been marred by loud sports bar atmospheres where you have to battle tooth and nail to convince someone to change the channel to something that isn't a mediocre NYC-area sports team (I say this as a Mets fan as well). Liberty was significantly quieter, definitely had an older crowd but also had numerous TVs throughout. The best of all worlds. I walked maybe 10 feet from the entrance, asked the bartender if she could switch the TV to the Zags on TBS, and that was that. Aside from a weird moment in the second half when the TV mysteriously changed to ESPN for a few minutes (we never confirmed the culprit), we had primo viewing of the game. Somehow we also managed to sit down next to a couple whose son was currently at Purdue. What a world.Vibe is everything with a place like this. I did a mild double-take when I realized the bar was located in a literal residential neighborhood in what may be someone's actual house (or at least upstairs). There's a parking lot on the side that had plenty of spots, and overall this was one of the most conveniently located establishments I've ever been to - it's about 30 seconds from Route 78 both ways. Initially I felt bad for the neighbors, but as bars go this is not exactly one that's going to be hosting raucous throwdowns outside or anything. You may actually be able to go to bed at 9pm living next door, which is my personal dream. The interior has a lot of tchotchkes behind the bar, and is surprisingly comfortable/spacious. The game started a little after 7:30pm on a Friday, but there were seats available right in front of the TVs and most of the patrons seemed to be in the back area playing pool. It did get a little more crowded throughout the game, but never to a point where it felt claustrophobic. The clientele demo skewed all over the place - several older codgers looked like they'd been rejected from Rock of Love Charm School (I thought one in particular was a dead ringer for Poison's CC DeVille), but there was also a few young men roaming around and middle-aged couples/singles throughout the establishment as well. Pretty much anyone who would theoretically come into a bar, did.We had a good bartender, who not only accommodated my TV request, but was friendly and accessible throughout our stay. I was in a sweet palate mood, and she offered to make a Hawaiian Volcano, apparently a drink pilfered from her days at TGI Friday's years ago. It's not something I'd necessarily get on a regular basis, but it definitely brought me back to my early legal drinking years for sure. I could taste some Malibu and juice, and sipped them throughout the game. We also got mozzy sticks and a pepperoni bar pie. Both were really decent for what they were, especially the mozzy sticks, which were fried perfectly. I thought the pizza tasted like a giant Bagel Bite, which is not an insult. But let's be clear - this is a dive bar, so it's not like you're wandering into the kitchen and stumbling across Jeremy Allen White from The Bear. You want something fairly tasty to munch on, and we got it.Strong recommend. I think expectations for a dive bar should be pretty simple - comfortable and pleasant. This was certainly that, minus the March Madness heartbreak.“

“I've been here a few times and really enjoy the live music! It can be a little loud sometimes, but it's ok! I chose the corned beef and cabbage- the portion is generous. I ate half of it for dinner and took the other half to go. I don't know much about corned beef and cabbage, but from what I'm told, having it sliced in this way is not a typical preparation. Nevertheless, I like it and it's tasty. I appreciate that I can have corned beef and cabbage here even if it's not St. Patty's!“
