My visit to the restaurant this morning (Wednesday) was overall quite satisfying. I arrived at 10:50 on a sunny day, finding a lot of parking spaces available behind the diner. The hostess promptly seated me upon arrival, and although there wasn't much conversation from the waitress who served me, she took my order and delivered the food in a timely manner, approximately within 8-9 minutes. Speaking of the food, I tried the egg benedict. It comes with Taylor Ham, Toast, and poached egg, and I ordered it with a side of orange juice. The tag of the meal was $23.16 in total. The waitress was very attentive and asked if I needed a refill when I finished drinking all of the orange juice they gave me. After paying my bill, I noticed that the waitress was quick to clean my booth in order to maintain a clean and tidy environment.

Very off putting, my best friend and I came in (4/7/24) and the waitress rushed us to order while the manager or owner (it was a guy with glasses) kept staring at us. 15 minutes after we got our food she started asking us twice if we wanted boxes so we already knew that they wanted us to leave and it wasn’t even close to closing. Plus it wasn’t even busy at all so it’s not like they needed a table. I observed the rest of the place and noticed that no one else was being pressed to leave. Been here before and I’ve never gotten service like that.

I like the chicken cesar wraps. The only thing i don't like is that every time i come and there's a waiter, I get a different price on things. Some charge for a little extra dressing, some don't, some charged for Cucumbers in stead of tomatoes And some don't. I'd like to see specials for takeout also,e.g., dinner and a pastry or something like that. Other than that it's good food.

After my Dr appointment I ate breakfast here food was excellent as so was the service I've been here previously and when I am in the vicinity I will be eating here
I order breakfast from Nutley at least a few times per week through DoorDash and the food is consistently good. Great home fries, and they follow directions which is always a nice plus. I wish their breakfast sandwiches were a little better but again, their platters are great.

This is hands-down one of the the best diners in NJ. The food is fresh and the staff is attentive but not overbearing. Only one issue: they charge for honey (for tea). Really? A bit excessive.

It's a diner... In NJ... Does more really need to be said ?.It's nice. People are always friendly. Food is always a solid good eat.Parking: There is a small lot right against the building that's free. Or there is paid municipal parking right behind it.Kid-friendliness: Was a go-to when my daughter was little because of its kid's friendliness and food.

I've been a loyal customer of this place for a decade, but recently I couldn't help but notice the sudden increase in prices for basic items like bread. I mean, who would pay $21 for a chicken sandwich with an upcharge on the bread type? It's absurd. It's not just the prices that have gone up; the food quality has also taken a nosedive. I'm not sure I can recommend this place anymore. I suggest you stay away from here if you're looking for reasonably priced, quality food.
