First time in there and they acted like we grew up together. There is no contest on the food. Chicken cutlet wrap was the best ever.
Excellent chopped salads, very fresh cold cuts, delicious chicken cutlets, really good fresh mozzarella... Super convenient store front with authentic Italian pastas, sauces and so much more. Home made hot meals such as eggplant parm and lasagna. Fresh cold lentil, bean, potato and pasta salads. Vilardo's does not disappoint! Come hungry! Owner and his staff are very friendly and accommodating. Catering services too.

Dropped by today for lunch, got a grilled eggplant wrap. Full of flavor, super juicy and as thick as a baseball. Fresh mozz, arugula, grilled eggplant, sun dried tomatoes, roasted red peppers and a balsamic fig glaze on a whole wheat wrap. This and a can of soda was $14.24. Good stuff!

The bathroom here was disgusting! You know what they say..dirty bathroom dirty kitchen. Probably why I got super sick after eating a sandwich from here.
Great spot with good food and welcoming atmosphere and service. The owners are really pleasant and remember repeat customers. As a result, the place is typically packed, so ordering ahead is recommended.

Stopped today and it was incredible. I moved from Nutley 40 years ago and went to this deli as a kid. Figured I'd just try it and it didn't dissapoint. My kids have never had a sub like that. Great job I'll be back next visit.
