Average run of the mill place, nothing special at all. Locals don't know any better so they love it but if you're from Philly/NYC then its slightly below average and you will be disappointed. You get a tiny little hoagie roll. Ham and cheese were OK. Anyone who knows about hoagie's knows its all about the loaf. This place don't got loaf. Not really worth it IMO. Extremely expensive for what you get. Rather go Wawa than this joint.

Normally go to their Middletown location and they always get our orders right. My wife gave birth this weekend, so we order from Oakhurts since it was the closest location to the hospital. My wife was craving her go to sandwich. Sadly, Brennan’s left off the bacon and pickles on her order, which we paid extra for. All she wanted was her correct order, so we are disappointed she didn’t get what she ordered after all she went through delivering our baby. We reached out to the restaurant asking for a credit back for the extra items we purchased that were not included on the sandwich and surprisingly never heard back. It’s only a few bucks, but we should have to pay for items that Brennan’s forgot to include.

The liverworts sandwich was fresh on a rye bread ? the deli had a very good selection of meat and side dishes to choose from. The place was clean and relaxed to have your lunch. The staff were friendly.. and in my opinion the place was over all a nice place to have lunch with family.

I would give this place negative stats. Staff is rude . Owner is a jerk and food is overpriced . Plenty of great options in this area avoid this place .

Lack of Consistency - i have ordered a sandwich from the Red Bank store that was absolutely delicious. I ordered the same sandwich from the Oakhurst store and it was subpar. I haven’t lost hope and i will try again but i would appreciate consistency btwn the branches of the same store.

I was visiting the area for work, my manager brought me here for lunch. I enjoyed their food so much, I had to detour towards their area to eat one more time before I left. I hate their #12 once on a sub roll then a half roll. Absolutely delicious! I also purchased some dessert, they too were delicious. I will sure visit when and if I have to come back to the area.
Stopped by to pick up takeout while visiting family in New Jersey. They were extremely busy, and parking in the parking lot is tight when they are busy, but we ordered ahead and the food was ready in a very timely manner. Everything was well prepared and the food met everyone's expectations. Overall this is a convenient and hearty food option in the Oakhurst area. I'm currently on a diet and was able to find and acceptable salad choice that was both delicious and met my needs. I'm sure we'll be back again.

great little spot, we have the breakfast philly and burrito, the salsa had a great taste. the service was quick considering how busy it was, and there was a large selection of bottled beverages as well

I gave this place two opportunities, they couldn't redeem themselves. Both sandwiches were terrible. The pastrami was not even edible. Tough and all fat. I think they nuked it. If you want a good deli, keep looking.
