I had the unfortunate experience of sharing a sub-par dinner with a friend who has to adhere to Glatt Kosher dining choices. First of all, the restaurant exterior and interior were so dimmly lit in the strip mall, we thought it was closed. The place inside looks dated which is fine but totally freezing! We had our winter jackets on the entire meal. The carpeting was dirty with visible broken Chinese noodles covering a large area enroute to the bathrooms. The bathroom looked worse than a dive bar inside! Has the local board of health ever seen this place!? Shoes were sticking to the unwashed floors and the grime level had layers of uncleaned dirt all over; bring a bottle of hand sanitizer if you must attend this disgusting place. The menu choices were totally overpriced ( like double what you'd pay for a combination platters anywhere else!) I guess because we're close to Deal,NJ they feel extra entitled to charge high prices. The cashew chicken platter had gummy gross chicken pieces but mostly celery and water chestnuts. The Sauce was salty without flavor. The " orange fried rice " was bland. The steamed dumplings were a funky texture and mushy. To top things off they have the audacity to charge an automatic 18% service charge..totally narcissistic as the service was just O.K.Save yourself a trip here there's plenty of other Chinese restaurants around with better food, prices, and atmospheres.Parking: OkWheelchair accessibility: Ok

Read my Google review explains it mostly! Unsatisfactory on many levels. Be sure to avoid this place if you value your standards of health and finances.

Probably the best kosher Chinese food in the area, and the prices are really reasonable, I wouldn’t say it’s a very fancy place, but if your looking for a affordable & delicious kosher Chinese restaurant, this is the place.

My husband and I with cousin Sid and Fiancé all enjoyed our luncheon meals.I ordered a cup of Won Ton Soup and Veal with Mushrooms & Bamboo Shoots that came with Fried Rice. I ate up every delicious tender bite! My husband also finished his plate of Beef w Chinese vegetables, and liked his cup of hot and sour soup. Everyone liked their lunch choices, and two of us asked to pack up the remainder - some orange chicken, and chicken w cashew nuts.

All four of us enjoyed our luncheon meals at Sheng Mao Sakura Kosher restaurant. I had a cup of WonTon soup and Veal with Mushrooms, and fried rice. I ate every tender delicious bite. My husband liked his hot & sour soup, and Beef with Chinese Vegetables. The others had a cup of mixed WonTon egg drop soup and Orange Chicken, and a cup Won Ton soup with Chicken & Cashew nuts. The food was fresh and tasty with generous portions.

Great price great food the tablecloth and cups were but definitely worth it for that price basically a decent sit down restaurant at a price you wont get anywhere else
