“Cute little diner vibes, with fun music playing (like pop rave ish type music). There was only one man working when we went and he was the server and host, as the place wasn't huge. He was quick to seat us, very attentive and super friendly. I ordered the chilaquiles with salsa verde and it was ridiculously tasty, I do wish I had gotten the salsa verde on the side as the tortilla chips quickly became soggy, but still, perfect flavor in my eyes. Will try to stop back there the next time we're in Philly.“

“To replicate one of their smoothies at home you’d need to fresh press your own juice (pictured hete), then measure every ingredient meticulously while you follow one of their recipes, and then clean up. That means chopping, peeling, freezing, juicing, blending and measuring and then cleaning. I can’t speak for others, but at that point I’d say it’s worthwhile to just pay the price for someone to make the smoothie or smoothie bowl for me. They also offer things like sandwiches and toast which are always held to the same standard as the juices and smoothies or bowls. On top of all this, employees seem genuinely happy to work there and are always helpful. The illustrations on the wall are there to inform us customers about the fruits and vegetables various health benefits, which I find really helpful when choosing what to order.“

“Hey, folks, just gonna share some thoughts on Asad's Hot Chicken. Been around for a bit now in West Philly, and gotta say, those two-piece BIG OLE chicken fingers with fries? Yeah, they're kinda hitting different. I mean, you wouldn't expect much, just some chicken and fries, right? But these chicken fingers? They've got this subtle heat, this crunch that's kinda addictive. And the fries? Simple, but slightly spicy. It gives old bay-ish seasoning, but they just work, you know? Service? It serves. And the vibe at Asad's? It's cool, laid-back. Like, you walk in, and it's like, "Yeah, I could hang here for a bit...just a little. lol (Not the biggest place and there's no chairs or tables. Strictly pick-up.) So, if you're ever in the area and feeling peckish, might as well swing by Asad's Hot Chicken. Give those two-piece chicken fingers with fries a shot. Can't hurt, right? What's your fave hot chicken spot?“

For apps: I recommend trying the steamed pork gyoza and Italian egg roll. For tacos: I recommend the tofu taco. It’s very crispy and moist. The ramen is good as well. For drinks I recommend the jasmine lemon green tea. We definitely would come back! :)“

“I've been trying to eat more plant-based for health reasons. I go in skeptical eating anything plant-based/vegan at most places. This place did not disappoint. I've had the breakfast pita and the veggie burger wrap - both surprisingly good. Just wish it was a little closer to my house. If it were, I'd definitely eat here more.“

“How can I give Seth & the Juice Bar a higher review? They are well above 5 stars. First, the service. Seth is the owner and the gentleman who makes the juice. He is so nice! His friendly smile will make you feel welcomed the second you walk through the door. What am I in the mood for, how will it taste, what will it do for me...... ask! Seth knows his stuff. Second the product. Holy Cow! I got the Green Supreme, can I tell you how good it was?!! I chugged the whole bottle in a minute that's how tasty this concoction of Kale, apple, and lime just happened to be. I purchased one for my b.f. and he said the same thing - delicious and pounded his. Third, the vibe! Do you believe in energy? I do. The energy in here is beautiful. A family owns this establishment, they work here, they shake the hands of their customers and the vibe within these four walls is beautiful. I work on Haddon Ave and there are several places that sell juice, however, when someone askes if I want to go get a cold pressed juice.... this is the only place we plan on going. Cheers to you fine people reading this review, may good health always be in you.“

“Nuanced Cafe is a whole vibe. I dined in and did about 4 hours of work; coffee and pastries were tasty, customer service was amazing, and the owner is a gem. They played jazz the whole time and I was in heaven (it wasn't too loud and I could actually hear myself think), not to mention the artwork and great selection of books they had. This is by far one of the best coffee shops I have had the pleasure of visiting. Will definitely be back!“

“Super cute little juice spot, the younger guy working was so great and very helpful, I told him I was feeling under the weather and needed a smoothie and he fully set me up with one and it is probably the best smoothie I’ve ever had. I ended up leaving with a wellness shot, the smoothie, and a juice, and I am stunned at how good everything is. I will 150% be back. Thank you for your wonderful service!“

“I'll begin by noting I don't typically follow a vegan or vegetarian diet, but my recent visit to this establishment has opened my eyes to the appealing possibilities of plant-based cuisine. The customer service here is top-notch, exuding warmth and friendliness. I opted for the “chicken” cheesesteak, and it was surprisingly delightful — I might even say I enjoyed it as much, if not more, than traditional cheesesteak. Accompanying my meal was the beet juice, which was so good that I found myself wishing for another. This place is a gem for anyone looking to explore plant-based dining or seeking nutritious meal options. I'm definitely planning a return visit to sample more of their offerings.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp leading up from street to main entrance“

“The food is cold, fresh, delicious, and filling! My it was my first time going to one this Sunday, and I have been there 4 times this week! “The Lemonana (9/10) Shish Kabob Sandwich (7/10) I loved the Lemonana so much that I got it twice! Keep in mind that it is not for everyone (my friend did not like it), so if you don't like lemon, mint, and sugar then it may not be for you. The Shish Kabob Sandwich was perfectly balanced with the met the vegetable ratio, but didn't taste super special (still really good though). Overall, the staff was really friendly and efficient with their orders.“
“Açaí bowls were delicious and super fresh. Definitely will be back to try more especially a smoothie. South Philly lacks a lot of healthier on the go options, I am so glad I discovered this place! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Inside is super clean, only thing I would suggest is to have music playing to give it more of a vibe.“
“I've always loved their smoothies (exhilarate is great, same with strawberries & cream) and bites (the matcha and the chocolate ones, so yum!) but recently tried the saunas and loved it! Nona is amazing, so attentive and caring. I am looking forward to going back!“

“Hibiscus. There’s no other place to get vegan food in West Philly. Period. The curry chickpea wrap, salmon wrap, and Jamaican tofu are my absolute favorites. All of their juices and smoothies are so fresh and delicious!! They have these new jackfruit patties that are packed with flavor and delicious curry seasoning. I’ve been coming here since middle school, and they never disappoint. It can be a little crowded in the afternoons but the food is absolutely worth it. “Wow. This food was AMAZING! I got the #3 Grand Boss, which came with 2 meats, yellow rice, plantains, and a small side salad. There is so much food for $15.99 that I have enough for three meals! I chose the pork for both meats and it is soooooo juicy! The yellow rice is the best I have ever had! This was my first time ordering from Las Palmas but it certainly will not be the last!“
“Stumbled upon this cute little food truck on accident while in the area getting off of supplies. I knew I was in good hands when I saw their menu had 10 different green smoothies alone! I settled on medium #28 (mango, pineapple, banana, spinach kale) and added hemp and chia seeds. Total was $7 and it was as perfection. Thick, creamy, well blended, without all of the added sugar. It's worth a stop if you're in the area and worth the drive if you're not!“

“What a fun spot! My sister and I love to get smoothie bowls when we are together, and after seeing Main Squeeze advertised on my Instagram, I knew we had to go. The location is a bit random, pretty south on Broad Street. We walked over from Grad Hospital - it was a hike, but it was easier than trying to find parking, which I'm sure would be a nightmare. We visited on a Friday morning, and we were the only ones in there. The spot is small, so on busy days it's probably tough to find a seat, but we had no problem sitting at their counter. Their menu is super expansive - they offer a number of juices, smoothies, smoothie bowls, and other bowls. Our focus was on their bowls, and even narrowing it to that section made a choice tough! I wound up going with the Nutella bowl, which featured pears, figs, cherries, granola, and of course, Nutella. The acai base made it hearty, and the toppings gave it extra decadence and sweetness, but it still felt healthy. My sister got a bowl with a pitaya base, which made for a beautiful color! Hers was much more fruit-forward than mine, but she loved the tropical flavors. We enjoyed our bowls with cold brew, which was standard but good. There was only 1 employee working when we were there, so service was a bit delayed, but we also didn't mind since it meant our bowls were made fresh in front of us. Main Squeeze was a fun spot to hit for a smoothie bowl, and I would definitely like to try more offerings! I do wish it was a bit closer / in a more convenient location, but definitely not a hindrance. Would recommend for anyone looking for a hearty, fun, and flavorful smoothie bowl!“
“The food was good. The granola had a nice vanilla cinnamon flavor to it. The fruit tasted fresh and ripe. I'm very happy with the quality. I'm taking a star off though because the price in-store was about $1.50 more than online. After tax and tip it was about $15.50 for a bowl. I feel I get better value at Honey Post in Medford Lakes, even if I like this one slightly more.I get that prices are rising, but you need to keep your website up-to-date. It's fair to the customers.“
