So I’ve been wanting to try Puddin Palace since I lived in oaklyn and they first opened, finally went and got ahold of some Puddin! The staff was so nice and helpful! Explained every flavor in detail and told us the purchase options. We left with an extremely well put together full pan and it’s almost like art when you buy it. I will be coming back even more excited then the first time!!!

Unfortunately I am unable to give a review of the food or service because the store was apparently opening late the day I attempted to try it (3-20-24). Placing a note on the door does not suffice for out of state customers. I had to pay a $5 toll for absolutely nothing! My suggestion would be to update your social media the day of with delayed openings or closings. I checked Instagram & there was nothing posted on the page or in the story. I also checked the website which did not indicate a delayed opening. Not sure if I’ll ever go back because I’d rather not waste money & gas on a business that might still be closed when I show up.**Update** (Response to Owner): I saw the post on Instagram the other day about the Amazon order & I do not fault your business for that. You did the right thing by telling your customers that you would be closed. However, the post clearly stated that you would be reopening on Wednesday, March 20th (Note: This is the day I visited as referenced in my review above). Your post did not mention a delayed opening for Wednesday. In fact, nothing on your social media said anything about opening late on Wednesday & I have no reason to lie about that. I even double checked as I sat in my car in front of your store. Had there been a post, I never would have wasted my time driving to a place that was not yet open for business. So I am not sure if there was some kind of misunderstanding with my initial review, or if this is just a lack of accountability.

Hands down the best pudding I have ever had in my life. I drove 2 hours for it and it was worth every second. Will be going back for sure and will recommend to everyone.

Best Puddin & Best Service. These ladies always help me out, always greet me and always fulfill my last minute orders. I think people are very dramatic reading these reviews and expect way to much from a small business who is still going through the growing pains of finding good help!you ladies are great. keep being great and providing greatness.

My family and I went in last night after dinner. When we entered the store I got the impression that we were annoying the girl behind the counter. She was on her cell phone and didn't say a word to us. When I asked about the flavors and products she tucked the phone in her shirt and gave me the shortest answers possible. We got 2 cups and it came to $20. The quality of the pudding definitely isn't worth the terrible customer service.

Unfortunately I can't give a review of the food because we didn't get the opportunity to try it. My daughter and I went in to pick up some pudding and eggrolls today but the customer service was extremely lacking so we couldn't. The lady behind the counter acted like we didn't exist. She didn't speak when we came in, just looked at the door and went back to singing "Boo'd up." I spoke thinking that would show we were there to purchase something...nothing! We stood by the case looking at the puddings for a couple of minutes....nothing!Another customer came in, went to the counter and she got his order. He left and went right back to singing "Boo'd up." So we go to the counter and discuss what we want to get, thinking she'll turn around and say something. NOTHING! After another five minutes we left. I don't get it. We ended up having to rush to Too Sweet Boutique in Deptford to get treats before they closed. We won't be returning.

I was lucky enough to receive a birthday gift from a friend of three delicious pudding flavors! Not only were they delicious, fresh, and beautiful, but the gentleman that brought the delivery to my office could not have been sweeter! He told me a personal message from my friend and ensured the treats ended up in my hands directly--and didn't leave them with just anyone at the office. 10 stars! I will be a customer for life!!
