Meh. Ick. What else can I say... Do NOT eat here if you are taking it to go. We were left beyond disappointed with the food here (we did to go food). We were staying (a group of us) in the area for a week and decided to give this place a try. What a waste. We tried several different options (from the fish to crab to pasta), and the best part of it all was the salad. All of the other items were over cooked and lacked flavor. The fish was tough and such a let down, especially for the price (which we realize you pay for good quality food, so I'm not complaining about it being too pricey). Maybe we had an off day, but I wouldn't think that with getting such a variety of items that everything would be so off. We should have read some of the reviews that did not recommend this for takeout. Even the crab cakes were not good. I don't know how this place can get such good reviews and it be the same food and be such a different story for takeout. We will not come here again

1st time diner and they hooked me in for life!!! Crab cake. Exceptional. Best I had at the shore! Scallops melt in your mouth. New England clam chowder is the best I had in my life! I'm 47! No heavy seasoning just the delicious cream and clams. A BUNCH of clams!! Clam and linguine was to die for. We will be back!!

Amazing. I order from here all the time. The broiled crab cakes are awesome. So is the shrimp and crab bisque. I get the lobster bisque as well. I enjoy it. The lobster is cut w imitation but it’s only $10 so I’d assume it’s got a little fake lobster in there because it’s got more “meat” than most. Hasn’t stopped me from ordering it at least 15 times.

Great fresh seafood! We got the clams casino, shrimp, and tuna steaks to cook for our family seafood night. Since my husband is from maryland he said the crabs were too expensive here. So we passed on those. Otherwise well worth a visit. Been coming here for years and

Recently was in OCNJ for some much needed vacation time. Was told to try out 16th street seafood and we ended up ordering takeout from there twice! Prices are very reasonable in my book, food was good and plentiful and staff was welcoming and friendly. Why are you still reading this, go and order food!!
Found this place in our guide book. Called to order as this place has very minimal outdoor seating so we got take out. Prices were very reasonable. There is a wait as 5his is a popular place. We were told 20 minutes but it ended up being 45. We got a broiled jumbo platter, jumbo fried platter, some sort of soup, and a shrimp and scallop meal. The seafood was very good, soup was ok but not something I would get again. However they do not put in silverware or salt and pepper in the bag so eating was difficult. Overall we would go back and do highly recommend stopping here.Parking: There are between 5-10 free parking spots right outside the building but yoy have to back onto the street. There is also parking on the street right before the building if it is busy.

We unfortunately didn’t get the chance to find out how the food is. We gathered the orders for our entire party of 15 and called an hour beforehand on a Wednesday only to find out they couldn’t accommodate our 5:30 pickup time (called at 4:30), but could maybe do our order at 7. Unfortunately, not run very well, so don’t plan on trying to plan a dinner from here unless calling the day before I guess?
