Everything looked amazing in here. I only got a coffee but the couple behind me were getting premade sandwiches that looked delicious. Friendly service and a cute little shop. Must be good because it was very busy.

The friendliest of people and definitely gives the small town everyone is welcome vibes. The scones are to die for. They are addicting. I haven't had a flavor yet that wasn't delicious from this place. The iced coffee was amazing too!

Today I went into Barefoot Market for coffee. I ordered a red eye which is a coffee with a shot of espresso. After a bit, I heard the barista in the back say "large red eye". Considering I was the only person at the counter I thought it was mine. I waited for a bit and still wasn't given my coffee. I then asked, "I ordered a red eye just checking where it is" and the barista, that thinks she's some sort of a hippy (which she's not as hippies are KIND!!!) says to me (in an aggressive manner/tone) "first world problems right". I, not being one to take abuse from aggressive people said, "No! It's not. I just want my coffee". She continued to be argumentative and again me not lying down and taking aggressive angry peoples BS argued back with her. This chick is a problem. I'm sure they know. I'm sure she can act "nice" to some people but this girl is not nice!!! For her to say to me "first world problems" for no reason, as someone who works there is argumentative and unnecessary!!! My comment warranted no kind of response. Even if it bothered her what I said, as an employee there's no reason to start an argument with a customer. I'm hoping someone talks to her about this incident, but I'm guessing she's related to an owner or worse yet, an owner herself! Finally, who I am pretty sure was the owner tells me "she is nice and now you have your coffee and can go!" Not as though I would ever be back! There's more minute details that I won't get into, but this was enough!

Barefoot coffee shop located on 200 West Ave. in Ocean city is a great place for breakfast and lunch. They do close at 2 o’clock and their lunches are pre-done ahead of time everything is organic there. The scones are homemade she makes them daily and once they’re sold, they’re sold until the next day their coffee is organic and she also has delicious sandwiches. She makes homemade baguette that to me. He is so good it’s Got kosher salt on top and for whatever reason it just is addicting. It’s like a soft pretzel. It’s so delicious. I’ll make sure that if she has them I grab them and I served them for dinner and they’re great for a substitute for a hotdog roll I’m telling you that bread is the bomb The owner cooks with love so I would highly recommend if you want a really cool garden feel organic experience, you can dine inside , outside or take it home.
You could drop dead on the side walk after eating one of their scones and it would have been a worthwhile life.
