We ordered food for take out and everything was great. The only problem I had was that I ordered a chicken and cheese quesadilla, and it was so spicy that I couldn't even eat it. No where on the menu did it say that it came with red peppers and jalapeños. Even my bf who loves spicy food said that it was hot so I know it was bad. Thankfully he shared his food with me. Everyone else thoroughly enjoyed their meals!

Very extensive menu. Everything they had looked good but we can speak to the quality of the tacos, nachos and enchiladas. Everything was delicious and fresh, definitely more bang for your buck than other restaurants in the area that we've tried. Owners were friendly and they had our food ready quickly.

After making solid recommendations, I took the food home, surprised at the weight of it in my hands. From first bite to last, every taste was fantastic and different. Even the food itself did not taste like fast food or restaurant food, but authentic home-cooked food - a feeling that is difficult to create. My friends and I went to Ocean City for an afternoon stroll and we came upon this hidden gem. The manager greeted us with a friendly smile and a polite greeting. We ordered three (3) appetizers; the traditional homemade Guacamole, Queso Fundido and Elotes (Mexican street corn). These starters were so delicious. I recommend you start your lunch/dinner experience with any of these freshly made starters. My main course was they yummy steak taco salad and my beverage of choice was horchata (rice water) which was so refreshing and yummy. Friendly atmosphere, good location, children are welcome and the manager has good attention to detail. It's a cash only restaurant but there's a ATM at the location. I highly recommend this eatery. Enjoy your experience!

So happy to find this wonderful little eatery while vacationing in Ocean City. I had the Taco Salad which was simply excellent: fresh ingredients and just the right amount of chicken. The service is equally excellent. If you want authetic Mexican food, El Guacamole is a must.

Got takeout. People were very nice. Was not a long wait to go pickup, only issue was paying in cash (but they have an ATM there). Food was great though. Chicken burrito + Elote (corn). Loved it. First time there too.

We love El Guacamole! It is a hidden gem! The food is super fresh (guacamole prepared table side) and everything has been delicious! Spices are done perfectly as well, you actually feel wonderful after eating a full meal here! The staff is courteous, attentive and knowledgeable.I should mention that we had a large party of 11 and accidentally tipped the server too much (bills stuck together) and he alerted us to our error. We will be back again and again!! Love this place so much! Amazing, fresh and delicious!!!!

Very friendly staff. We ate there twice this week and had the guacamole prepared at our table both times. This evening I had the enchiladas with mole sauce. I have often found mole to be either too sweet or taste too much like a bar of chocolate, but this was excellent. We have been pleased with everything we ordered there including the dessert coffee.
Saw this place a few times and always wanted to try it. So happy I finally got the chance. Started with volcano nachos. Wow they were amazing from presentation to flavor. I had the Baja tacos and loved them. Everyone in our party was very satisfied. Service at this place was top notch. I don't think there was employee that didn't stop by our table to check on our needs or to make sure we were enjoying our food. Even the chef stopped by (funny guy). The only draw back I felt was their hot salsa that came with the standard chips. It was more like a hot sauce than salsa. Still everything else was wonderful. We will return ASAP.

We stopped in for lunch with my 5 year old and 3 month old sons. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. We ordered nachos and tamales to start, and both were delicious. My 5 year old ordered steak tacos, and ate all 3, saying they were the "best tacos ever!". My husband got chimichangas and I got mahi mahi tacos, and both were also delicious. We nearly cleaned our plates. Felt good to have fresh, good food after days and days of boardwalk food. We will definitely go back on our next vacation to Ocean City!Kid-friendliness: Staff were kind and engaging with both kids.
