We eat here a lot when vacationing or visiting the OC area. Have never had anything that wasn't delish. My favorite is Seafood, and my husband is a meat eater and has tried everything from Steaks, lamb, kangaroo, and camel. My go to is scallops or coconut shrimp. If in area, try it you won't be disappointed. Save room for dessert, they are good too.

I got the Cowboy burger. It was cooked to a perfect medium. It was so big I pulled one of the patties out and made another burger the next day. Fries were good but pretty basic. Others got Honey Garlic chicken and Sea Bass, both of which were very good. Slightly overcooked fish but still good. Chicken tenders were trying too hard to be something better. Avoid them. 3 of the 4 tables near me sent food back, but I don't know why. Portions are large. Ambiance was nice. Service was slow. This is my 2nd visit. Same experience both times. If you are not in a rush and you stick with the reasonably priced items, you should not be disappointed.

(This is part of my year end sausage extruder series. I was here at some points(s) during the year (June in this case). What I remember is questionable and what may have changed is unquantifiable.) We keep coming back to IG mostly because when we rent in OCNJ, it's always on the north end and in this area, there's not really a lot of restaurant choices. The best part about IG to me is also the scariest part. The menu here is large (everything from burgers to seafood to sandwiches to chicken and steaks). Trying to be all things to all people can really backfire, but overall, I don't think they do a bad job here. www.ocnjislandgrill.com/menus/#dinner Cedar Plank Salmon - Both Chowders - Grilled Chicken Breasts All of the menu items were as described. The only real turkey was the island rice side that was really bland and served in a stuck together lump. Biggest surprise was even though it was a cold and rainy night at a prime dinner hour, there was only a minimal wait for a table and everything was brought out fast. Ideally your house is close enough that you can walk because parking is all on street fighting with the local renters. No real issues with coming here as the menu is varied enough to fulfill most interests and the quality is still strong enough to make it a worthwhile area staple year after year.

Our visit was last Weds, party of 6. They were not overly busy. We aited it seemwd like a long time for a server to events acknowledge us. She wandering by several times but never said I will be with you shortly, or hello or anything. When she finally arrived she asked of we wanted to give her our full order at once including drinks. We ordered drinks, apps, soup salad and entrees. The drink orders came out wrong. Apps came out ok and were good ( coconut shrimp and wham bam shrimp) Salads came next and were fine. Soups came out with films on tip prbly from sitting too long. Dinners took awhile to come out and sides were wrong, some entrees were cold, crab legs luke warm and my husbands Salmon must have been sitting awhile or cooked too much not sure but the Salmon was stuck to the plank. The server did not check in. We had over a 2.5 hr dinner. We then asked to have the check split down the middle and put on 2 cc's. She came back and had split the check but put both amounts on the same card and didnt realize until she came back to the table. She had to run cc again and void one. We asked for the voided receipt and she got a little indignant and grabbing at receipts saying she gave the best service she could? Then she came back with the wrong bill too.Not sure if cc was correct when we left. All in all not a good visit which is a shame we were looking forward to eating there after looking at menu.Hot mess. We won't be returning.

We stay in Ocean City at least twice a year and always come here for a delicious dinner at least one night. My boyfriend and I had our first date here and June. We were just here last week and my boyfriend requested the same table as we sat in for our first date and they immediately accommodated us. Our waitress Pam was very kind and had a great sense of humor. The food was absolutely delicious as usual!

We ordered take out for our girls get away weekend. 5 of us ordered and every one of us really enjoyed our meals! I had the honey garlic chicken. It was moist and delicious. It came with rice and broccoli both were very tasty! Service was gracious and quick. This will be on our list for our annual trip!

Good food. Good staff! ps mom who said her dinner was ruined/your adult son yelled & banged on ladies room door while I was in there, then banged on kitchen door! He was the problem not the young man in the kitchen!

Really enjoyed the crab imperial - it was big chunks of crab in basically butter vs the mayo version other places have. Baked potatoes were fresh. Great experience and glad they were open post Labor

Went here while on vacation. Best food I had down in OC. The 16oz cowboy steak was absolutely astounding. My MIL got the mahi mahi and raved about it. My wife got the surf and turf and didn’t talk until her plate was empty. Really great food. Service was slow; waiter just seemed to never rush which I guess it fine. Flies everywhere once all the tables around us had food which was annoying. Regardless, highly recommend. Only open 4-9 so get there early. We waited 30 minutes around 6pm.

Everything about this restaurant was great. The food was very good - nice portion sizes, cooked very well, and great taste. Good selection of fish on the menu, and it was fun having three different options on cooking and 6-7 options on seasoning for the fish. The Cesar salad was simple, but, unlike most restaurants, they put plenty of dressing on it. Most of my family went for the seafood: Mahi Mahi, Coconut Shrimp, Fluke, but the hamburgers looked pretty good too. Make sure you save room for dessert - my family said the Key Lime pie was one of the best they have had at a restaurant. The Resee's Peanut Butter pie was very good. Service was very friendly, fast, and they checked up on us. Atmosphere is typically not as important to me, but this was a quaint place - check out the amazing mural on the wall done by Bogy! Definitely a place you want to hit when in Ocean City.

Food is great. Lobster bisque is really good. Jojo even says the bisque is better than Franklin Steakhouse. That means a lot. The bisque at Franklin is in a bread bowl! I love me a good bisque in a bread bowl. Any who.....island grill is good. Enjoy!
