Since being sold in 2022, new owner has overpriced many food items/offerings. Many agree. Cheesesteaks still remain appealing taste at $15 which is a bit overpriced too. Beverages fountain sodas are beyond overpriced also. Service decent and friendly.

Blame it on move it day to our rental and trying to get dinner on a Saturday night in high season. After calling 2 places, 1 who didn't answer and the 2nd being an hour and 45m wait, tried the next place on the list without looking at their menu and just ordering (2) pizzas. I thought when I ordered the pizzas, the guy said $51. But when I arrived to pick up the pizzas, it was $71, ~$40 for a buffalo chic pizza and ~$28 for a regular plain pizza. Is this a resort or the OCNJ boardwalk? Absolutely ridiculous and the pizza was AWFUL. You should NOT be charging this amount for pizza.

Angelo’s pizza is a lot better than the other more popular place where there is always a line. I don’t get it. Tradition for some perhaps. Angelo’s pizza is less greasy and more delicious. Also, they are not stingy with the toppings.

My wife and I have been coming here for about 20 years. We skipped vacationing in 2020 because of covid but returned this past August. The prices here shot up at least 25% as compared to before the pandemic. We walked out after looking at the menu prices. The food was always good, but over $20 for a simple pasta dish in such a cafeteria type atmosphere was ridiculous. I did notice that the place was less than half full at dinner time, so others must be objecting to the prices as well.

We've been coming to Angelo every summer for the last 10 years - it was always one of our faves in ocean city. It's a very basic place - pizza served on paper plates with paper napkins but we loved it. We went there yesterday and were SHOCKED at the prices! It seems they literally went up more than 50% since last year! I understand COViD and Inflation and all of that but it was pretty ridiculous! Big ziti cost $25, Ravioli was 25, penny with butter was $18 and a plain pizza pie was $27! Large lemonade was nine dollars and they charge you $1 for a glass of TAP water! And these are all cash prices apparently they charge 4% more for credit card purchases! I've eaten at a lot of restaurants and I have no issues paying $25 for a plate of pasta but when I pay this much expected to be served to on proper plates and white linen cloth not on the paper plates with paper napkins on cafeteria style tables. These prices are completely outrageous I do not reflect the atmosphere and service of this establishment. After being loyal customers for 10 years we will not be coming back..

I read reviews stating that this was the place with the best tasting gluten free pizza. Sadly, it is not. The crust was very powdery, if your gluten free you will know what this means. My daughter and I split a gf pizza and it is quite big even though they call it a personal pan (it a full size gluten free pizza). We also ordered a cheese steak because they had gluten free buns. The sub was amazing, the bun wasn’t crumbly and the filling was delicious. If your gf stick to the subs, they are your best bet. My husband and sons ordered a regular non-gluten-free pizza. It was huge and looked amazing. But, they said it had no flavor. They all added everything on the table (Parmesan, red pepper flakes, oregano) to try to help it out. It didn’t stop them from eating it but if we did this restaurant again it wouldn’t be for the pizza. The waitress was super nice and all of the wait staff seemed super attentive. It was a bit pricey for a pizza place with no atmosphere.
