By far and away the best dinner in OC! They’ve done a great job here with the atmosphere/ design and the food was exactly what we’ve been waiting for. Great to be able to stay in OC when you want an elevated night out.
Really enjoyed the betz room. Only their third weekend open. Servers were attentive and honest. I asked about the oysters and instead of song and dance Cami got my question answered. Food was good and solid. Thought the topping of the baby squids was a little much. Seafood crudo was excellent. Steak perfectly cooked. Sea bass could have had a little bigger piece for my liking. I almost don’t want to write this review at the risk of this place getting too popular to get a reservation. The Betz Room is simply The Best food in Ocean City, NJ. Nothing on the island compares. Not even close.You have to join as a member for a modest $25 per person. For those who do not know, Ocean City is a dry town and you cannot consume alcohol anywhere except a for few private clubs.
