The Topsail Clam Bake (High Tider) ~ Shrimply the best! Friendly staff. Superb idea. Incredibly delicious. A MUST when in OC and would be perfect for a tailgate! Made us happy as clams! I'm hooked.

Alex, at the counter, was very helpful in organizing a bucket for my daughter's birthday. She made me feel welcome and walked me through the whole process. The storefront was very clean and well organized. The seafood was fresh and looked great. The directions were clear and concise. I followed to a T and the results were spot on. He had a fantastic meal that was easy, fun, and delicious. We will be ordering again next time we come to town! 9/23/23

First time - great experience! Saw an ad for them in one of the OC papers and thought it was a great idea. Everything was delicious, we will definitely order again. The jalapeño cornbread was SO GOOD!

You can’t think of what to cook for dinner don’t worry when your staying down in the south end of the island you want to place your order with Top Sail Steamer they put together these amazing steam buckets with everything. they gave you the paper tablecloth , cooking instructions, seasonings, everything you need to make a delicious dinner. All you need is a bottle of beer. Pour it in and steam it up. When you enter into the store, they have their whole menu on the chalkboard around the walls and they’re such a large assortment of buckets with different price points to meet your needs to feed a large crowd or small crowd. It’s your choice you can pick and choose your Seafood as well. It’s all custom to what you like the staff is friendly. And parking is not a problem. You just park next to the five and dime.

Our third season ordering from Topsail, so obviously we always enjoy. However, this time the shrimp was mushy, which was a great disappointment. Scallops and crab legs were delicious. Also, brown paper for table seems to be of lesser quality this year.
Everything was delicious! I think there could be a little more food in the low tider bucket. I added on more clam and crab to our bucket and that made it the perfect amount. And we only had 3 people eating.

We ordered a couple of their boil buckets, while not cheap, it was super simple and a no brainer if you're looking for a seafood dinner down the shore! We followed their instructions and here's the pros and cons... Sausage, potatoes and Scallops - cooked to perfection. Some shrimp were undercooked ... operator error - but otherwise they were perfect size and easy to peel and devour. The corn was worthless ... basically cattle corn that ended up being over cooked and inedible. The clams were on the bottom and all fell out if the shells while cooking. There was no where near enough seasoning to provide any flavor to what we had .... need to add more for sure. The cocktail sauce was bland ... I wish there had been an option for the "medium" variety. Though the garlic butter was on point! The unexpected highlight was the fantastic, moist and flavorful corn bread! We will repeat with the lessons we've learned ... but maybe they will make some adjustments for future customers?
