The restaurant is kind of small, so it might be a good idea to make reservations if you're eating dinner there. Servers were polite. I ordered the mango shrimp and rice, which came with miso soup and a salad. For under 20 dollars, I thought that was a reasonable price for a dinner at a Japanese restaurant. My husband ordered the hibachi chicken and beef. Everything tasted fresh and good.

Tried Ginza for the first time and was completely disappointed. I went for lunch not knowing that they don’t seat at the hibachi tables until 5pm which was fine with me. The meal was completely rushed. Before I sat down the waitress was already asking what I wanted to drink. Came back 2 minutes later to take the order. Before I finished ordering both my soup and salad were place in front of me.I ordered the hibachi scallops. I politely asked “to slow down” because I couldn’t finish anything with the next course was in front of me. The waitress said no problem. Then the entree came out and it was cold. She didn’t bring the mustard and ginger sauce. They vegetables were soggy and mushy. The portions of noodle and fried rice were tiny. My scallops had been sliced so thin that I’m pretty sure it was just one scallop. Also I got 1 order of salmon sushi which included 2 pieces. The sushi was actually really good but 2 pieces for $7.50 is a little crazy. The hibachi scallops was $15.

Best Japanese cuisine in this neighborhood. Food qualities are better than nearby restaurants. Susan is excellent in customer service.

I ordered a Godzilla roll (cooked) and I received it raw !!! Good thing I eat sushi otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to eat my meal. They were closed by the time I realized. Totally disappointing because I prefer cooked sushi over raw.

Finally we decided to venture out toanother Japanese restaurant instead ofour tried and true neighborhood Japaneserestaurant, Asia Star. We had passed the GinzaJapanese restaurant many times andthought "lets try it" and we did. It's a busy restaurant for in house diners as wellas having a brisk business for take out. The staff is busy almost too busy as they seem oblivious to anyone coming into the restaurant. There is no greetingor recognition that you might want a table. We wereseated without an exchange of conversation exceptfollow me.My husband ordered a healthy meal i.e., Salmon Teriyaki. It came with miso soup, and a salad with a great dressing and broccoli. I ordered a "box." This came with beef teriyaki ,California roll and dumplings as well as misosoup and salad. Oh yes, deep fried shrimp andvegetables was also included. Lots ofwell prepared food by an excellent chef for a very reasonable price. But I did miss the warmth and friendliness of ourneighborhood Japanese Restaurant, Asia StarBoth restaurants, however, offer the best of Japanesecuisine. You can't go wrong with either of theseestablishments.
