I just had the most amazing veal Marsala tonight that only high end Italian restaurants can produce my wife's chicken giambotta was excellent to a must go to place and for all these crappy reviews are ridiculous this hard working family buddies s blast from the past

It was getting late, maybe why this review will be just average. This is a family place where you take grandma/grandpa,the kids and the grandkids plus a few cousins to dinner. Strictly Italian food here sans the pizza. It's pizzaless. There is a shortage of waitstaff. I must be more patient, yet my friend was very. Food was decent. Butter was frozen and the Italian bread wasn't real Italian. Veal Francese was decent, though small. The penne was toooo "al dente". The lobster/crab ravioli were excellent. Felt rushed.

Very disappointed from the time we entered, slow service, veal parm entree was tough and chewy, no water or bread for the table until we asked for it. There are better choices for good Italian food.

Great dining experience. First time here since the Covid breakout... staff was great. We felt safe. The food was awesome... waiter gave us great recommendation on the food. We will be back. 5 stars for sure!

Excellent! Yesterday I went to Mia's with a group of friends, all of whom eat at restaurants once or more each week. We had a terrific time at Mia's. The food is just exceptional. We started with appetizers: the calamari drizzled with balsamic vinegar was done perfectly. Clams oreganato were very tasty and the house salad was cold, fresh and crispy. We then shared a plate of the linguini carbonaro. It was wonderful. The pasta cooked perfectly, the sauce was creamy and not too heavy. Just terrific. I then had the gnocchi Bolognese. The gnocchi cooked just right and the sauce was very well done. Just the right hint of tartness, and then portion was generous. The penne Siciliano was great - paper-thin slices of eggplant over penne with ricotta and mozzarella. One friend said that the Veal Saltimbocca was the best she's ever had, even better than some really pricey places nearby. Everyone loved their food, and since it's a bring your own, the bill was more than reasonable. The revised decor is nice and open, and Sergio did a great job timing our food and providing friendly service.

My husband and I and friends had dinner at Mia's last night. Mia's has been one of our favorite restaurants for years and last night did not disappoint. The food was delicious as usual. I had one the specials-anchovy encrusted salmon over Caesar salad. The salmon was cooked to perfection. My husband had Shrimp and Veal Champagne which our waiter said was his favorite, no left overs. Our meal was completed with a CHOCOLATE CAPPUCCINO that was amazing and a new taste treat. Mia's continues to be my favorite restaurant with kudos to our wait staff!

The Shore has no lack of very good restaurants. Mia is one of them. Besides the good food is is so easy to park. Asbury Park and Red Bank have good places to eat but parking on the weekend is not fun. All the stores around Mia are closed in the evening so there is plenty of room for cars.
