“I can’t explain in great enough detail how much I love this spot. Everything on their menu is house-made from scratch all the way down to the dressings and — correct me if i’m wrong — the cheeses?! This is my go-to spot for a sub out of anywhere I tried on the journey to finding Josie’s; even just the bread alone blows everywhere else out of the water. I always excitedly inform people about Josie’s whenever they bring up any kind of food they’re craving because this menu is packed with wholesome, homemade classics and specialties that I know would have anyone swoon the way I do. Long story short, if you’re hungry for something that feeds your soul, too — look no further. Shout out to all chefs in this kitchen. ?“
“Soul Kitchen was everything I wanted it to be! ? On my bucket list for years, it was worth every minute. They lived up to their story of feeding the community. The volunteers knew some of their customers by name and even sat down to talk. I expected a restaurant with a story of service to have basic, even bland food, but I was so happy to be proven wrong! I even came home with a bag of the Soul Seasoning to cook with. The portions were large and delicious.I'm so happy to support such an amazing restaurant with their mission to help those who are food insecure. Much love to Jon Bon Jovi and his foundation.P.S. I'm marking this as $30 because that is the recommended donation for the 3 course meal. I was pleased (and lucky) to be able to make a donation on top of that in addition to purchasing seasoning and a t-shirt.Parking: There are spots directly in front of the restaurant as well as on the street. Since the building across the street was closed, I parked there.Kid-friendliness: The food is good and the volunteers are amazing and quick. I would definitely have eaten there with my kids when they were little.Wheelchair accessibility: The entryway is flat and there is enough room between tables for a wheelchair. I'm sure they would be happy to help with accommodations I needed. I watched a woman on crutches maneuver fairly easily through the tables.“
“Amazing food. Wonderful selections. I got the brisket grilled cheese with bbq sauce and their extraordinary poblano maple relish. My husband ordered their famous cacio e pepe scrambled eggs with arugula salad.Have uploaded pics of both. We shared an order of fries.Everything was great. The place was packed and closes at 3.Yummm“
“I was craving a taste of that New Orleans flavor for my birthday (minus the plane ticket and hotel cost). This restaurant is just about as close as it gets! Every dish was seasoned and had its own delicious vibe. And if you’re undecided on dessert, get the butter cake! It came out hot and crumbly with a graham cracker gelato ? — also; check out all the quirky bathrooms!“
“This was our first time there. The place is nice and so was the staff. Our waitress was very good. They give you hot bread when you sit down. I had spaghetti and meatballs. It was good and I loved the meatballs. You get 2 good size ones. My boyfriend had the linguine with white clam sauce. He enjoyed it! We will definitely be going back there again!! Thanks!! Cathy“
“Placed a rather large order today. Appetizers, a few rolls and a few ramen dishes, All very good! Presentation was great and roll sizes are large for the price. Great taste and great value especially compared to the other sushi options near by. Impressively, the food was ready for pick up in 15-20 minutes and I was greeted by a very nice lady who took care in packing the food and made sure we had everything needed for our large order. Definitely happy I chose to try this place today. Will be back.“
“Appetizers are outstanding - whipped feta, grilled octopus, tuna tartare and Brussels sprouts - and they are generous servings, enough to call it a meal. Main course pork chop was excellent. All main courses can be shared or you'll have plenty of leftovers. Service was excellent and decor is welcoming.“
“I’ve had the pleasure of partaking in dine in and take out on the same day. I was in town for work. I wish I lived closer because this place is great. The food is fresh, and well prepared. The cold brew was very good as well. Wonderful staff and great ambiance inside.“
“Interesting mix of regulars, college kids, and locals depending on what time you arrive. Definitely worth waiting if under 20 mins. The drinks are good and there are plenty of food choices. Check out the daily specials and happy hour prices. Bonus happy hour is all day in mondays.“
“Wonderful meal last night! Food was absolutely delicious and our group of 6 people all agreed. Our server Mandy was terrific. Great vibe, feels like Miami or Los Angeles. Gets louder as the night goes on, but that's the price of being out with the cool people. Will definitely return for the Wagyu Tostones, the Tuna Ceviche Tostadas and the Plancha Salmon.“
“Cheers Hansel, enjoyed with a group of Belmar friends an awesome, tastyBrunch in Bradley Beach. The dining experience was highlighted by our excellent server/PATTI friendly, attentive, patient & super efficient; a real charm! Will be back!Valerie “O”. Belmar, NJVegetarian options: Terrific variety & well presented .“
“I gave Sogo Sushi 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I went out for sushi last night, and a guy spilled a whole bottle of soy sauce on himself!! Everyone laughed except me. - Don‘t "Kikkoman" when he’s down ?Keep reading for my review ?Pros:• Brown rice sushi is a game-changer - healthier option without sacrificing flavor!• Rolls are creative and tasty• Friendly serviceCons:• Yeah, the decor might be a little stuck in the past, but if you're a brown rice sushi lover like me, it's worth checking out if you're in the area!Overall, it was a nice experience at Sogo Sushi! The brown rice sushi and creative rolls were standouts, and the friendly service made for a pleasant visit.Follow me on Google for more ❤️“
“Best happy hour menu ever any day of the week. The twenty or so selections are small plate versions of their regular menu for under $10. The Mezza Rigatoni, Artichoke Hearts Francaise, and Wild Arugala Salad are staples. The sauces on anything they make are simply divine. Don't pass up an opportunity to judge for yourself. Try Johnny Piancone's the next time you're in Long Branch.“
“I can’t remember the name of the salad but it’s the one with the lemon vingerette dressing, I was worried it was going to be too lemony but holy moly was it good! I could drink the dressing by itself lol can’t wait to try other salads!“
“The fiancé and I drove down from Bergen county… when I said they did not disappoint I mean it. Just to get this out the way I don’t know the name of the man who helped us but he was extremely helpful with recommendations and very polite and patient while we figure how which delicious things to order. We ultimately settled on the vodka chicken parm slide crust pizza with penne vodka topping. This is not only one of the fattest (in a good way) things I’ve ever eaten. However it was also one of the best, flavorful, and quality pizzas I’ve had, and I lived most of my life in NYC and Jersey. This was a legit restaurant quality entree of vodka parm with penne vodka but on a slice of pizza. We also got thunder sticks and cheesesteak pinwheels (6-8 per order). We were going to get 2 orders of pinwheels but he let us know of the how many come per order which I thought was very honest of him rather than letting us waste our money getting too much food, I still would have eat it all but that’s besides the point. We talked about being from out of town and when the pizza was cooking he even asked us if we would like it a little under to be able to reheat without it being overdone, which I appreciated. I will definitely be back! Thank you for one of the better restaurant experiences I’ve had in a while.“
“I actually found out about this place while visiting a friend in Neptune. Since then this place is slowly becoming one of my favorite spots.Their garlic knots are outstanding and are the style I love (updated to k clude a pic). Every calzone/Stromboli I have ordered so far has also been outstanding (updated to include pics of Buffalo chicken and Sicilian "regular" sized Stromboli). Pizza overall has been pretty great but I haven't tried a lot bunch other than plain or with 1, maybe 2 toppings.I am impressed so far with how many items have been great, and the consistency of how great the food is regardless of the day of week/time of day. Give em a shot.“
“My daughter and I went here this week. I love this establishment. The service was patient, friendly and kind. The food was fresh and good. I love the tropical feel and it always seems clean. The one down side is they do not offer a military discount. Frutta bowl does. Just sayin.“
“What a beautiful experience. Extremely family friendly - there were children and babies at every table. The ceiling is gorgeous and super engaging for our 15 month little boy. The staff is genuinely kind and friendly- our son fell in love with everyone. Plus professional and highly efficient. Food was WoW! And nicely priced. Excellent cost for value. And my OEK pistachio shaken espresso - :sigh: reminiscing it’s yummy goodness. All in all and out of this world experience. We are so happy we ventured out!Kid-friendliness: From the ambience to the menu and staff - best place to take our little 15 month old!“
“Two words: MUST TRY. This quickly became one of my favorite spots to go to for a delicious breakfast/brunch. The aesthetic is so nostalgic, the service and staff are absolutely incredible, and to close everything out and wrap it up with a beautiful bow, the food here is so consistently amazing!“
“Delicious authentic Mexican food and drinks - a staple in Highlands and the surrounding area. The owner is super friendly and is always accommodating to our family. One of the few authentic Mexican restaurants in the area that serves alcohol. The fajitas and margaritas are some of the best around!“
“Before you enter the shop, the aroma grabs you. It brings back childhood memories of my neighborhood in NYC. This is what pizza should smell and taste like. I come here every time I am on my way to the shore. This is one hard-working family. The same people every day for ... how many years??? Looking forward to my next visit.“
“Shrimp in mole sauce is delicious. Just spicy enough to make it interesting. A medley of spices blended together in a thick, dark sauce. I find it addictive. Chili rellenos stuffed with cheese then battered and fried. The batter is light and completely non-greasy. I get them covered in a tangy, fresh verde sauce that I have been ordering for years. The entrees come with rice and beans. Sometimes it is juicy black beans and sometimes creamy refried pinto beans. The service is always, prompt, polite and friendly. We mainly get take out these days because hubby picks it up on his way home from work. The orders are always complete and ready when expected.“
“This place is SO good!! We live 30 minutes away and these salads still get to us fresh using DoorDash. They give you a great amount of food, usually enough for 2 meals, and it’s always fresh and super good. Tons of options, I very highly recommend Salad House!!“
“Sat outdoors and enjoyed a vodka chicken square pizza and a hot pepperoni square and they both were great! I personally would’ve loved more cheese on it but that’s me! Lots of different types of pizza on the menu! Great outdoor seating too!“
“Best burgers around! The staff is always helpful, pleasant and keep the dining area clean. My go to pick: Charburger, a side of tempura green beans and any of the handmade juices available (my favorite is the strawberry kiwi with extra ice).“
“Had the peperoni Scillian style pie with the everything seasoning on the crust. It was kinda room temp, rather than hot, but tasted really good - especially to a bunch of semi-drunk guys. Would like to try again when sober and pizza is hot.“
