A very nice restaurant and bar near the developed part of the old Ft Monmouth.Food was good especially the hamburgers.Live music on Friday nights, the band "Blue Abyss" was terrific.Parking: Large paved and overflow gravel, shared parking lot with the marina, could be busy for lunch with small boat rentals.No problem at dinner in the winter

It was a rainy afternoon when we stumbled on Mama Dag's! Nice bar surrounded by water! Happy hour specials. Cold beer! Great atmosphere will definitely be back in nicer weather!

We went when the first opened. The staff was nice but they were pretty disorganized. I enjoyed their lobster bisque and the lobster roll was good. The clams weren’t good. It had a flavor that I didn’t like. The description of the clams sounded better than it was. I would go back to try again.

I came here for lunch. Everyone in my party (3 adults) had the burger and LOVED it!!! The burger came with the perfect amount of hand cut fries. The burger itself was definitely high quality and included onions, tomato, lettuce and pickle slices. My 4 year old had chicken fingers and fries and was a big fan. I'm so happy I check this place out since the new owners have taken over. I live in Oceanport and am so excited to have a restaurant this great in our backyard. I can't wait to go back and try some seafood!

Amazing someone can't get this place right. Nice location. They must not really care. This afternoon almost all taps out. Bottle beer was not ice cold. Burger was ok. I think they rely on the location carrying them. Must be some good funding behind them because you don't sense the passion to be good or even better

Food was good. (But prefer the burger from summer 2022). Super understaffed. No one came to our table for quite awhile after we were seated. Music was way too loud - would've been more relaxing if they toned that down a bit (and I'm in my 30s haha and still thought that). Waitstaff is nice. Didn't love the way they cleaned the tables. Just wiping it onto the floor.
