Tried House of Poke once and thought it was good and decided to get some for lunch last week. Ordered a Poke Bowl for lunch as soon as I opened the cover off the container all I could smell was fish. When you are selling raw fish quality is super important, unfortunately after this I will not be going back to House of Poke for any raw fish items but may consider the chicken as the black and yellow was truly delicious.

disappointing to say the least, i ordered a make your own bowl on doordash with 3 sauces, teriyaki, soy, and house sauce, and only received their house sauce. i selected ginger but the amount that was put was overwhelming, it was pretty much equal to the amount of protein! i like ginger but i don’t want it to be the only thing i taste. and they forgot most of the dried toppings, no onion flakes, no garlic crisps, no dried seaweed. and on top of that the veggies don’t even taste fresh and the quality just isn’t goodthe tea is delicious so that’s why its not a 1 star review but overall i’m very upset, i was very excited to try this place but im going to stick to jj delicacies from now on

Hands down the best poke bowl I ever had. So many varieties of toppings. My mouth was bursting with various flavors. You can't go wrong with this place.

Recommend: beef bowl (gyu-don), karage bao bun* , poke bowlGood: white peach milk tea, mango teaOk: sushi burritoNote: Containers are not microwave safe so keep that in mind if you order something hot and take it homeKarage bao bun gets an asterisk because the chicken was juicy but there wasn't really much batter (maybe just a light dusting of flour?) so if you're looking for a breaded crust on your chicken, this is not it.I got the beef bowl without the egg and over sushi rice and I think it was my favoriteThe sushi burrito looked like all the filling was dumped in the middle and it made everything easy to fall out. The burrito doesn't have any paper wrapping so you have to fight with it to get the bite. I love a sushi burrito but I think it's wiser to go for the bowl. I always support a make your own. While the name on "the spice is right' is very cute, the actual combination was not my favorite.Portions are good, but a fair number of up charges for different ingredients, I guess because kani (fake crab) is not considered a protein. The tea was tasty. The white peach definity tasted like real tea and not bubble tea powder but they don't prompt you for sugar level and ice level (on me for forgetting) and it was pretty sweet.Very hip atmosphere.Maybe instructions or a sign for what to do with the eat in trays and dishes would be goodWe liked it enough that we will be back, but not enough to go regularly.

I’m not one to normally leave reviews but I ordered a bowl, the coconut shrimp bao buns and the sushi tots. I’ve actually never had such disgusting sushi in my life. The coconut shrimp bao bun had imitation crab in it. Smelled rancid and looked old. The bowl that we asked for some extra sauce in was actually drowning in sauce the rice was swimming. And the sushi tots were not good either. Quality of fish isn’t good which makes sense why their prices are cheaper. Wouldn’t come here again.

I wish they have ground tuna and salmon for the poke bowls, hopefully they can use this for reference - went from a 3 to 1just for that nasty comment from the owner -- all sushi places mash and grind tuna and they are actual Japanese chef's and its not frozen.
