There is nothing but good vibes coming here for food. The grannie is so helpful and attentive, would keep refilling the kimchi dish right as it’s finished and so sweet and kind. The staff are awesome, food is great! Definitely come here and try it. The price is absolutely fair too!

I am so glad to find a restaurant that’s confident enough in their forte. One page menu, 8 soups, 3-4 appetizers. This kind of restaurant is very difficult to find outside of Korea.Consequently, their end products are excellent. Their main menu item, gomtang - beef broth soup, is probably the best in the East Coast. The complimentary kimchi is perfected ripened and fermented.Interior of the restaurant is nothing to boast about, but who cares? All are reasonably priced and the waitstaff is competent and kind.

So good. Real food. No msg . No aspartame in kimchi. My favorite is oxtail soup or the tendon soup 도가니탕. They should add 설렁탕 to the menu to satisfy many people like my husband.

We came here after going to king sauna, and it was pretty empty and it took us a full minute to get the attention of the one woman who was serving/working in the front. Granted it was kind of close to closing time but service here was off. The kalbitang was perfect. I will say no more. My boyfriend also enjoyed his yukgaejang. The side dishes were nothing to write home about and the kimchi was a bit too sour for my taste (it wasn't overly fermented, it was just sour). We also got a mini seafood pancake which was not worth it. I would definitely come back for the soups.
