All the pastries are so delicious. Bakery is very cute and clean, but I wish more young people would be work there instead of old grandfather.

Bakery is nothing like its previous iteration. The apple turnovers had canned filing, and the crust was tasteless with an aftertaste. So sad!

Ok after waiting a while that the bakery re opened and I read some bad reviews I decided to go... it was one of my favorite places pre-covid. Unfortunately the spirit of the old bakery is gone. I found a very clean nicely presented coffee shop with baked items. The bakery items: donuts, apple strudel, turnovers, etc and some Asian bakes. The prices: outrageous! I wasn't expecting the old prices but $2.75 for a donut or $6 for apple strudel is expensive. The quality was good, the taste was not the original bakery 5 star taste.

We have ordered from the bakery 3 times and the last two times they forgot to make the cake order we placed in advance. Very disappointing when we showed up to pick up the cake for a birthday celebration that they said they forgot to make the cake. Don’t think we will return again.

This place is rocking! Their pastries are top notch and many to choose from. Elaine was so kind and helpful that she walked me through and explained all pastries that don’t contain sugar in it. I can’t eat sweet bc of my medical conditions, so I ‘ve got Taiwanese castella, delicious!

This bakery was closed from 2019-2024 and may have changed owners. It was renovated over that time period and you can see the change in the photos. Now as far as my review goes. Everything at this bakery is stellar. The pastries are delicious, the people are nice and the renovations really class the place up.All that said I'm only leaving 1 star. Why? The prices. The prices have quadrupled. One of the most egregious examples are the apple pockets/turnovers. These used to cost 0.88¢ a piece in 2019 and now cost over $3 each. Many other items are priced similarly. I get maybe 2x increase. $1.66 would be fair. Even $2 would be alright, but $3.50 is outright greed and I won't support it.

Not palisades park bakery. The new owners transformed it completely it’s not right for them to call it “Palisades Park Bakery” and benefit off of the reputation of the original bakery everyone loved and grew up with. Will not be returning.

Wonderful bakery with unique desserts that not only look beautiful, but taste delicious. The place is immaculate, which is a huge plus for my wife and I, a d the service is excellent. Lovely place to stop and grab coffee and pastry or pick something up for that special occasion.

New ownership promised to bring back the old favorites and they did. The problem is that the place lost its personality, character, and spirit. They have transformed this beautiful bakery that used to cater to the local community with open arms and smiley face, to a very modern cold non spiritual place. They turned this into a bakery/cafe, which does not stand out amongst the dozens of the same kind around the area. Their star products like the cheese cakes, pecan pies, are put aside and overpriced. There is nobody there to greet you anymore. Just a cashier waiting for you to pick your own goods and bring it to the front. No personalized attention. No love. "pay and leave" type of place.I miss being helped by a counter person, helping me choose things and have small conversations. Also, what I miss the most, are the comfortable prices. Cheese cake for $11 is now $26, pecan pie for $12 now $20. yes inflation, but no, its a character kill. They didn't continue an old established business loved by everyone, they killed it, and open something very bland. Palisades park bakery had survived among all the modern cafe/bakeries, because they never changed their spirit, and now that's gone.Hope the new owners do some soul searching and try to be different from the other bakeries. Personal attention to start with.
