Mr. Dakota

I visited the place for the first time in about five years and ordered jjajangmyeon, but it was more like porridge, overcooked? I was very disappointed. What happened to the place?

After half an hour of waiting, shared a circular table with 2 other parties. It took a little while to get my orders as it was filled with people. The fried pork was so crispy and juicy, and unijjajang definitely had a kick with some spice. Lastly, gochu japchae was good as well. It was such a great experience and will come back when it's not busy.

They said they were sold out of ingredients at 2:30, does that even make sense?? They didn’t even ask us what we were going to eat, so they were sold out of everything???? At 2:30??? It’s so dang ridiculous, our family won’t be coming here again ever!!

I live in Manhattan and take the bus to eat this at least once a month. That is how good it is. Jjajangmyeon and Tangsuyuk are the best. Pork and Chives plus the bun is solid too. If you have space get the dumplings as well. You need at least three people to finish all this food. I just love it so much that I stuff myself. No regrets! Honestly don't understand why you would give this place anything other than FIVE twinkle twinkle big stars.

it is delicious.Sweet and sour pork, stir-fried black bean paste, fried dumplings, and jjamppong were good. Nanjawans seems to have changed a bit.Summer cold noodles and kiseumyeon are also good. It looks like they barely even add MSG.Everyone has different tastes, but... I like it better than Hongbanjang and Gyeonghoeru. Hyodonggak in Manhattan is also good... but the dishes here, including red pepper japchae, kkanpunggi, and Ryu Sanseul, are also top-notch.The owner and his wife also welcomed us warmly.Get well soon, madam.I ate well today too. Please remember that it closes on Monday.

The Jjajangmyeon noodles were a bit soggy, and I ordered soybean paste, but it didn't have any burnt taste, which was disappointing, and the Jjajang sauce was also very bland. To some extent, when I mixed the sauce well and ate only the noodles, the noodles tasted like flour. I felt like I had to eat some onion and sauce with a spoon to get the seasoning right. The sweet and sour pork was okay because it had a lot of meat, but sweet and sour pork with chops? Maybe that's why it wasn't that crispy.

I ordered 2 shrimp fried rice, 1 japchae rice, and 1 crab with uni jjajang, but the japchae rice was made with white rice instead of fried rice, so not only did the japchae turn into rice cakes and not mix with the white rice, but the pork must have been too old. It smelled so bad that I ended up throwing it away.It is said that the shrimp fried rice my children ordered contained less than 5 shrimp. I'm so angry that I'm posting a picture. When I called and asked for a refund, the woman on the phone complained that she couldn't give it to me... This is how they do business in the narrow Korean community... I don't think so.Daemyungkwan is the oldest Chinese restaurant in Palpak, so I trusted it and used it for the longest time. Now I think I'll have to look for another Chinese restaurant. It's really a bad idea.If food ingredients are so precious, why do you run a food business? Haven't the prices of food also increased as much as the cost of food ingredients? As you move up, shouldn't you provide your own service? To those who read this comment... If you want to go to Daemyung Hall... think twice before going.

The taste has changed, the quantity has changed… That's a bit harsh. It’s a place I liked… .

Our order for simple regular dishes were delayed too long. We didn't get service in orderly manner - They insisted they following the order received but clearly it wasn't. There was no word of polite excuse.
