I’ve eaten here twice. The first time I ordered the jerk chicken, which did not taste like jerk chicken… in a bad way. I usually always pass this place in the food court and decided to give it a second chance, so the second time I ordered the stewed chicken and thoroughly enjoyed it. With that being said, food here is a hit or a miss. Additionally, the bald heavy gentleman at the counter is often times very rude, poorly dressed (always in a dirty shirt, no gloves, etc.) and has a terrible attitude towards guests. I gave the atmosphere 4 stars because the food is displayed nicely and the decor has a cool island vibe about it. Overall, I would rate 5.5 out of 10. Again hit or a miss.

The amount of salt in this food is INSANE! & the boneless jerk chicken was tough. Unless you’re trying to get hypertension & blow up like a balloon along with a series of other health issues, stay far away. My first & last time getting food from here.

As a Jamaican, when I order a veggie plate, I expect rice&peas, plantains and vegetables. I ordered a veggie plate online, and selected to have rice&peas and plantains along with it. My order arrived without vegetables, just rice and peas and plantains. When I called to make them aware, instead of making it right, he is telling me that I ordered wrong. Extremely poor on the customer service end.

I stopped by Jerk Shack Grill to give it a try because I am Jamaican. I was pleasantly surprised by the food and can honestly say it did my countrymen proud. The beef patty was delicious and had the perfect light and flaky consistency you see in a real patty. I also ordered the large oxtail which was FIREEE. They put extra oxtail gravy all over my rice and peas without me even having to ask. I would go to the garden state plaza mall just for this food alone. I will be back!! 5/5 highly reccomend.

This food was not good AT All. The rice and peas were nasty and hard. I have never had rice this bad. The Mac and cheese had no tastes and the baby wings were not good. Dont eat here. My friend said she had the same experience a few months ago.

POOR CUSTOMER TreSERVICE JUST LIKE THEIR REVENUES I SUPPOSE. I CAME TO ORDER FOOD AND THE BALD HEADED SERVER WAS VERY RUDE AND SARCASTIC. THE STORE DID NOT LOOK CLOSED DOWN, LIGHTS WERE ON AND THE COOKS WERE STILL IN THE BACK, AND THE FOOD WAS STILL OUT. BUT THE SERVER, THOUGHT IT WAS APPROPRIATE TO ASK ME IF I SAW ANY SPOONS, ADDING THAT HE JUST WANTED TO MAKE IT MAKE SENSE. PS IT SAYS THEY CLOSE AT 9:00PM, WE CAME AT 8:26 pm . IN CONCLUSION VERY LAZY AND RUDE. TREMENDOUSLY DISAPPOINTING AND SAD.

Super slow service with workers socializing and leaving one lady to serve on her own. Gentleman gave me a nasty look when I asked for bbq sauce which I saw behind the counter. And this is after you had me wait 20 mins for mediocre cold food.
