Mamoun's Falafel in paramous, nj is the best of all the Mamoun's I've visited inc Bleeker St, St. Mark's, Princeton. Service and quality at the Paramous Mamoun's rocks!!

Mamoun’s Paramus, NJ is the best of the Mamoun’s chain—better service and freshness than Mamoun’s Bleeker St, St. Mark’s Pl, or Princeton. Wish there was a Mamoun’s in Millburn or Short Hills!

Anyone know if this store is opening again? I emailed the company but no response. Why did it close?

It's just not the same as MacDougal Street. Not the same taste, ambience or quality as the original. Nothing beats their Greenwich Village location.

Amazing food.Nice and clean place in Paramus. Ample parking and inside Sitting arrangement Are great. Employees are really Cordial, wait time is way better than New York’s McDougall streets store. Food are delicious always love the food.Shwarma on pita sandwich is the best !!!Top place to visit in North New Jersey

To start off the ppl in the kitchen do not wear the mask properly at all(below the nose) The food was ok definitely not the same as the one located in Hoboken. But what bothered me most was me and my husband went together with our kids for eat in, when my husband asked for plates so we eat in they said we do not have!!! So how were we supposed to eat? They could have offered plastic plates or anything but they did not. So we lined up napkins to plate our food on. This is unacceptable in my opinion and disappointing. Will most likely not go back to this location.

I've been to this Maimoun's at least 5x. The last time was perhaps 3 weeks ago. They forgot the sauce. I had to return to retrieve it. Soon after eating I got sick...it was nasty; what happens when there's food poisoning. Now it's temporarily closed. I wonder if others got sick as well. I sent them an email and received no response.

Very fresh. This location is very clean. The service was fast and the order was correct. The order taker was friendly as well. Will be back!

Falafel was pretty good. Service was fine. Really nobody sitting down to eat which was good cuz we wanted to eat in. I had the falafel platter and was good. Friend had shawarma and was very disappointed. Not like the village. Felt like he was eating shreds of droppings. Dried out scrappings. Will not order again. Stick to the namesake falafel. Clean space.

I have been going to the Mamoun's in the W. Village for years and I've been to the one in Paramus at least 5x. Monday afternoon, my visit was unusual because of the wait, only one other person was there and he came after me, but was served before me and the tahineh sauce was missing. I had to return to Maumoun's to get it. Then it went from bad to worse, I did not eat anything other than that and I got very sick with food poisoning symptoms (diarrhea and vomiting). So either the sauce was tainted or someone who prepared the food did not wash their hands properly. I finally feel better today, but I was sick yesterday all late afternoon and night.

Walking in, the staff was great and the atmosphere was very pleasant. When it came to the food I got the Shawarma but all the lettuce and veggies were at the bottom, the middle layer was the lamb which was kind of tough and dry, and then the sauce didn't make it all the way down to the other layers. It just sat on top so you ate all of it in the first couple bites. My girlfriend though loved her falafel and said she'd go back just for those little chickpea balls.

I've been coming to this location recently, used to go to the Hoboken one for years... but I have to come to the realization: THEY'RE TOO CHEAP WITH THEIR FOOD! Seasoning and tastes are on point. But for the price you pay, you literally get 4-5 tiny cubes of chicken or shish kebab in the sandwiches. What am I a toddler??? Also, the most recent time I got hummus, and the pita bread cold like it just came out of the weekly truck delivery. Come on, stop being so cheap! For $8 a sandwich, I should be getting more than what I would feed a toddler.

The portion is very less. Ordered side order of baba ganoush and spicy fries. Each was about $3.00. The fries were hardly 10 pieces and baba ganoush was 2 table spoon.

We have been regular mamoun customers at the city and the Hoboken branches for years , so when we found out they opened a branch in Paramus we were super excited!! So we tried it today, and we are extremely extremely disappointed... my pita was FULL of lettuce and tahini and maybe one falafel ball, super super messy, it’s never like that at the other branches.. my husband schuawarma pita had like 4 little pieces of chicken , super messy and a TON of lettuce. We pretty much paid for pita , lettuce and a gallon of tahini . The standards at this location are sub par, the formula works great in the city and Hoboken, why is Paramus different?? Bring the people who know how to put a falafel pita together...
