This post will be shared to every corporate office, Facebook, and every single email I find. I will also call every number possible to reach to highest level to tell this. On Tuesday morning at 8:30am I arrived at Whole Foods in Paramus. I waited on the line outside to be allowed in at 9am. I am 9 months pregnant and I have diabetes. When I got to the door, the woman standing at the door stopped me and said "you do not have to wait until 9, you can come at 8 because you are pregnant" I thought that was great and thanked her and also told her that's so helpful because I have diabetes, she replied "oh yes especially with diabetes you can come in because it's for immune compromised and elders". I thanked her and went on to shopping. I called Whole Foods on my way home to confirm this information and I was told "YES because you have diabetes". This morning, I woke up nice and early to get to the store by 7:30am to wait in line to go in by 8am. 8am the doors open and the "manager" who calls himself "KC" tells me I can NOT go in. I told him I have diabetes and that Whole Foods AND one of his workers said I can. He told me very disrespectfully to get off the line and that my statement was not true. I got off the line as asked but I respectfully told him that there is some confusion and that not only have I been waiting in the cold outside for 30 minutes but this information was given to me from Whole Foods and an employee. He told me " yeah well I'm the manager and i said elders only" then he snapped his little black gate shut on me as if I was an intruder. I got in my car EXTREMELY upset and embarrassed he had done this to me. I called Whole Foods and they told me he has to let me in because I have diabetes (I even tried to show him proof of diabetes). He refused to listen to me despite my second phone call to Whole Foods and he treated me as if I was a nuisance to him. He did NOT care that Whole Foods themselves were saying he has to let me in because of my diabetes. I got in my car so upset and called me husband. How devastating to be treated like this at this time we're all going through. My husband got my 4 year old daughter dressed and headed over to the Whole Foods. He confronted "KC" and told him that there's been some confusion and if he can please let me into the store to get the foods I need to manage my diabetes. He declined and told me husband to step away. My husband at this point felt disrespected and told him how rude and disrespectful he is and how wrong he is and the man replied with "do you know who I am? Well you're about to find out." And he CALLED THE POLICE! The manager CALLED THE POLICE. So we did not leave, we stayed to speak to them to see what they thought of this. 3 police officers and 2 security guards came to us and asked us what was going on and all 5 of them tried to tell him that he is wrong and he is not respecting Whole Foods policy. Of course he tried to play nice guy to the police but they ALL said how shameful and stupid this guy is and that he should be reprimanded and all 5 of them told me how much they believe I should pursue this to the fullest. The police officer told him to let me in and he said "no, and they can't come in the whole day". Before the police officers can continue to force him we told them to just leave it alone and that we will leave. We did not want to give the store any business anymore. An elderly woman on the line even told the manager he's wrong and should be ashamed of himself. So we left, went to Trader Joe's and got what we needed. The nice police officers wrote up a report for us to pick up in a few days that we will be using to take further action against this man and Whole Foods in Paramus. To compromise someone's health during a pandemic and treat people like that will not just simply "go away".I took pictures of him. I have proof of my diabetes and I recorded the whole entire thing so there is no denying. I&am

Maybe it would be a lot better if the employees who were in charge of monitoring the entrances and exits were actually doing their jobs instead of being distracted by their phones

I thought I would give their apples a try, and I regret it! Two huge brown spots INSIDE the apple, the outside looked good. For the amount I paid for honeycrisp, I am very disappointed and disgusted. I just purchased these a day ago!

Whole Foods has gone down hill ever since amazon purchased it. This used to be the best store, however now it has become sub par. Most (not all) of The employees never smile and barely look at you when you ask them a question. They are always out of stock in many items. Ever since amazon purchased Whole Foods, they have raised their prices on many items. They claim they reduced their prices on produce, but they have raised their prices on many produce items all back up. The quality of the produce and meats all appear to have dropped since amazon took over.

Contacting customer service was a complete waste of time. The representative John in west coast office was perplexed as to why I was directed to contact them and unsure of what he could do to help resolve what happened. I suggested he read the yelp review to which he responded he had no access to yelp (?). I read it to him and his response "I guess I can file a report, if you want". Initially I thought my experience of horrible customer service was isolated to the Paramus location but after my call to the home office I was proven wrong. It is unfortunate that what was once a brand I held in such high regard has taken advantage of their customers due to their overwhelming popularity. I have yet to receive any response to my complaint and at this point don't expect one.

Only the best quality and great selection. The price is why it is not five stars. Prepared foods are great. This location is more for prepared foods then shopping because inside mall. Tough location for food shopping.

Fantastic place to get grocery. Great healthy organic fair trade options at reasonable prices especially for Amazon prime members and with PRIME NOW everything gets delivered within the hour (2 Max but that is the absolute Max) right outside the door beautifully packed in paper bags and ice creams in secure cold storage packing. What's not to love?

Thank you Janelle at the coffee bar. This super sweet lady rocks. I always have the best experience ever with Janelle, she makes the best espresso. I appreciate her knowledge of the coffee, it's always hot fresh, and it's way better than Starbucks! Not only is Janelle's coffee better, and fresher, she treats all of her customers exceptionally well. I look forward to coming to Wholefoods just so I can have my dose of the best tasting coffee I have ever had outside of being in South America. If you go to Wholefoods Paramus ask for Janelle, she is absolutely the best! I order the Americano Decaf, and O-M-G it is the best morning treat ever. So grateful to all the friendly staff at the Coffee bar. I know that anyone reading this review that loves top quality coffee will appreciate this hidden gem in Wholefoods. The aroma of the fresh ground coffee beans is enough to draw you over to there counter. I am posting pics below of the various blends. It is a coffee lovers paradise! I have walked passed this gem for years, but now it is a must visit each time I stop by, which is every other day.

I was very excited to get a $15 coupon. We gave it to the cashier at the beginning of check out. He even remarked it was smart to use it. At the end I realized he hadn't used it. He said to go to customer service and they would credit me. This is where it went downhill. I was told that I had to return my whole order and rescan it again. The order was over $400. I understand the process but no I'm sorry. Not really a good Customer Service experience. Maybe I'll go back to use it, maybe not. If you want customer service shop at Wegman's.

Good store but poor staffing Lines very long due unattended registers Not sure if corporate realizes how poorly this Whole Foods is run compared to what should be good seef God forbid your kid have to use the bathroom Whole paychex ought to atleast allow people to go to bathroom They sell geneticaly engineered food - lol attention shoppers we also sell Gebeticslly Modifiedc Food General Mills announced Friday that it would start labeling its products containing genetically modified ingredients. You'll see them on packaging soon, and you can already check the status of your Count Chocula Cereal and Nature Valley Granola Bars at a company website. The move comes ahead of a Vermont law mandating GMO labels in that state, and because there is no easy way to separate products going to one state, the company decided to add labels nationwide. So ladies and gents the truth is out WHOLE PAYCHEX not only sells GENETICALLY MODIFIED KRAP but also they sell PROTEINS Potentially spiked with amino acids. Here's their lawsuit: New Investigations Natures Best Zero Carb Isopure Protein Powder Spiking Class Action Investigation Practice: Defective Products & Consumer Protection Phase: Investigation Chimicles & Tikellis is investigating a potential class action lawsuit on behalf of consumers who purchased Zero Carb Isopure protein powder from Naturs Best. It has been alleged that Natures Best has been spiking the content of its protein powder with amino acids. The amount of protein in the powder is typically measured by the nitrogen content of the protein and it has been alleged manufacturers add certain amino acids to the powder solely for their nitrogen content. This practice is referred to in the industry as protein spiking and can account for as much as 5 grams of protein per scoop. These nitrogen-rich amino acids are much cheaper than whey protein and do not provide health benefits that offset the artificial spike in the protein content of the powder. If you or someone you know purchased Zero Carb Isopure protein powder from Natures Best, please use the Email us about this Casebutton to contact the attorneys below.
