Have not been in Red Robin since before the pandemic. When both of us received an emailed rewards offer of a free burger with any purchase, we decided it was worth a try. So on an early Sat eve, we stopped in. Many reviews of this place, including my own review from 2014 when it opened, complained about poor, indifferent or remarkably slow service. Not so today. So, I think the restaurant deserves a another look for those who were previously turned off by consistently slow service. To be fair, It is true that for many restaurants, these days, staffing a good size dining room with sufficient bodies is a challenge. Nevertheless, this time we were served promptly; the manager and staff were attentive and delightful. And, so were the burgers -- perfectly grilled with delicious toppings and extra crispy fries. When you get the craving for comfortable dining on a burger and a beer, this Red Robin gets my vote.

We have been to this location several times, the last two times really weren't impressive. Burgers were overcooked, burnt and inedible. The fries were okay, but that was about it. Ordering is can be slow. We would send the burnt burgers back to be redone, but they weren't much better the second time. I understand there are staffing issues, but how hard is it to make a burger in a burger joint? Anyways after taking a break for a few months, my husband asked that we give Red Robin one more try, so we went again tonight. My expectations were low. After sitting for a minute the waitress came by asked what we wanted. We didn't yet have a chance to look over the menu, so we ordered a kids meal and an appetizer. The waitress said she would be back in two minutes, but never came back. She would walk around the dining room staring at her phone ignoring us and another table trying to order. At one point she ended up leaving the restaurant with another non employee. I'm not sure where she went, as they weren't serving tables outside, but my husband and the other table got up, and walked to the front several times, trying to find help. About 30 to 35 minutes after ordering the appetizer, the other table left without ordering and we just paid for our drinks, food using the console on the table. After checking out, the waitress came back and asked if everything turned out fine. We said yes and left. We might have tried to wait it out had it not been for the multiple now hypoglycemic diabetics at the table, so we left to try and find food and fast. Needless to say this was probably the worst experience we've ever had, and we won't be back.

Food was good. Service..... ummm not so much. I've was a server for 12 years, I'm the last to complain, but the first to know the difference between a good server that's busy and a server that is just lazy or not a good server. There was about 4 other tables in the whole restaurant. Our server took our order, was polite and friendly, then we saw her for a quick how is the appetizer and she disappeared till we were finished. Didn't ask if we needed anything when the food came out or check how the food was. Needed a knife and finally got one in time to eat my food when everyone else was done. She didn't even get it for us. The food runner did. We didnt even see her helping other tables. Literraly just dissapeared. He was nice but took forever. He actually looked like he worded hard but was just overwhelmed. Really nice. She was nice but terrible service. Not one plate or cup was cleared from our table until we left. Is it considered service if the server isn't even present? I only tip because as I said I was a server, but it's a shame to tip someone for doing nothing. I'd rather have tipped the food runner instead.

Service is friendly and efficient. Food es as good as it gets for a local burger/brew chain. Good option for no frills lunch

I walk in no one greeted me so I had to sit at the bar a woman comes up to me I asked for a drink. The woman then said first you’re supposed to get seated by the receptionist and secondly I don’t know who’s at the bar. I just got up and I left without ordering I went to an establishment down the block from them. I would never recommend this place

Terrible experience. I do t even know where to begin. Ha. First off I waited ten minutes before someone greeted me Finally seated us. Then another 18 minutes without anyone coming over offering to take our order. I literally called the restaurant from our table and when they answered I asked if they could send someone to table 31. Finally a kid comes over takes the order. Two simple burgers. Takes easily 30 mins for the food to come out maybe longer. All for one of the burgers to come out burnt! No question about the level of well done here. See photo. Finally they send another one out at this point I’m eating alone now. Donut tower was order for dessert but they made an onion tower instead so that took 25 mins to come out. Wasn’t the servers fault. Under staffed and poor kid had be on his shift for 8hrs. Poor management and service everywhere has gone down the toilet ever since Covid hit.

I had an excellent time at Red Robin today. My server, Stephanie was very friendly and attentive. The Onion Rings short stack was great. The Onion rings were nice, crispy and not greasy at all. Both the Campfire Sauce and the Ranch were terrific. I even got some ranch for my Broccoli. I got the Black n' Bleu burger and it was wonderful. A little messy but cheesy and full of flavor. I'm glad they brought back the Mississippi Mud Pie because that is their best dessert. While it was hard to get at first since was frozen solid, the ice cream was delicious, especially the Oreo crust. I had a very pleasant lunch today and I hope to return to this location in the near future.

Taking my kids for their first time to get Red Robins experience Didn't go the way i expected. Meaning Service after we placed our order took long. And mind you we just ordered our food 3 burgers no appetizers just drinks and main course. And also No napkins or utensils I had to ask for these items I wish the waiter was more attentive.. other table came later then we did and got their food first than us.. once The Burgers Came out There was No Complaints everything was Cooked Perfectly Fries Too.. Don't think I will be coming back to this Location for a while. Even though its closer to where I Live I will go to other locations.

I try to avoid chain restaurants, but I have kids and chains are sometimes the best option. Red Robin used to be a solid place for burgers and chicken tenders, but the service at this location is just so bad and under staffed, it's an arduous place to dine at. They don't have any bus boys, yet have 2 hosts and not enough servers and cooks. The staff is run ragged with multiple people running out food and drinks. Forget about bottomless fries, the server never comes back to see if you want more or a drink refill. Thank god you can pay at the table through the tablet, or you would never get out of there. I see this location going out of business. This is an ongoing problem, as this terrible service has happened to my last 4 times there. Stick to a local mom and pop place.

Surprised this place didn't come up when I looked it up, doesn't appear to be new by any means. Came here to watch soccer at the bar and ordered a burger to split, tower of onion rings and fried pickles. Burger was good but definitely on the small side, especially from what I remember at other locations. Onion rings were great. Fried pickles were way too salty! Staff was friendly ans everything came out hot. They even sliced our burger for us, which was a nice plus.

Worst experience I have ever had at this particular Red Robin. Service was terrible! Ordered a seltzer, never got, ordered a milkshake, got it after wife finished her meal, on top of not given utensils, and or napkins. NEVER AGAIN, THIS PARTICULAR PLACE...SUCKS..! McDonald's would've been a better choice.

Sun., May 15, 2022 - Location: Paramus, NJ - Hostess never looked us in the eyes. She never said, "hello" or "welcome to Red Robin's", etc. She was dressed as if she was going out to a dance club. Seating us was confusing for her, even though the restaurant was less than 25% full. My wife and I looked at the menus, decided what we wanted within 2 minutes and was never greeted by any wait staff whatsoever. Several walked past us, taking other orders, but after 15 minutes of being ignored we had enough. One of the coldest staff we ever experienced with zero greeting and zero acknowledgement. TERRIBLE! Who manages this place? Or is there any management there at all?

A horrible experience two times. There is an old expression that the second time is a charm. That definitely does not apply at the Red Robin. My family and I dined here on Mothers Day as my children enjoy the food. We arrived at the restaurant for an early dinner (4pm) and figured the service would be better considering they were not busy. Not ! While the waiter did come over to take our drink order he then disappeared ? Fifteen minutes later he arrives with my wife's drink and asks me again what I ordered?? We knew at that point that we better put the food order in immediately and thank god we did. After nearly an hour wait some of our food arrived. My son ordered a bacon cheeseburger which was inedible (well done) and my other son ordered two kids cheeseburgers, one of which never came ! I gave them the courtesy and filled out the electronic survey after paying the bill and have yet to receive any response. Never again ! There are two many other great restaurants nearby (Millers etc.). You have been warned !

This was my first time dining at Red Robin's in years. I went with my family and the experience and food was mediocre. Our waiter was friendly but he forgot about us. We waited a long time for our food and drinks yet the restaurant wasn't busy. We saw that a party that came in at least 20 minutes or so behind us received their orders before us. To add insult to injury, by the time we got our food one of the orders was not correct. The waiter resolved the issue but by that point we were ready to go. I will give them another try but probably no time soon.
