I had been wanting to try this place for a while. My mom had talked positively about the chain from visits to shore locations so I was happy when they opened one up here. Our food was good but there were a few things that were off-putting. For starters there was a wait even though the restaurant was not full by any means. I dislike a waitlist as the only option as opposed to taking reservations. The place has a pleasing-enough farmhouse aesthetic. When you come in, there's a high-top communal table for 10-15 people that is the first thing you see. There was nobody sitting there and the debris from a party was still lying there. Not a good look for the most visible spot in the restaurant while people are waiting to be seated. It was still like that when we left. I get it that staffing is a challenge but this should have been a priority to get it cleaned up.There were also minor errors with the order but nothing terrible. We did enjoy our food and I would go back, maybe not at peak brunch time on a weekend.Parking: It's in a shopping center with other restaurants and a few other stores so I guess it varies by the time of day. On Sundays the stores are closed which lightens the load a bit.Wheelchair accessibility: It's in a modern ADA compliant shopping center with standard-width doors, no steps, and adequate open space between tables for a wheelchair user to navigate. Didn't use the rest room but I would expect they are also built to ADA specs.

The food and atmosphere at Turning Point is great! Never had a bad meal BUT the service is horrible! Just waited 20 minutes at our table and when I finally found my server and asked to take our order she said “ oh my god you didn’t order yet?!” Being a server myself for over 10 years I would NEVER forget that one of my tables didn’t order! We had two small children with us asked for their food and our appetizer to come out first… the kids food and the appetizer came out last! We have given this place several opportunities and the service has lacked every time we will never go back again!

The food was good. Minus the bacon tasted funny. I received my food and never saw my waitress again. Couldn’t even tell them i had an issue with the taste because they never came to check on us. Had to get up and ask for the check. Nice place over all but service killed the full experience. First and last.

Everything was terrific! The food was excellent and arrived hot. Delicious coffee and they leave the pot on the table. The service was on point and attentive but not intrusive. We made a reservation and were seated in less than 5 minutes. We gladly recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

The eggs Benedict was spot on,and the fresh pressed coffee is an awesome option,my eggs with home fries was average at best. Servers are friendly and helpful but id never return, much better options and food quality elsewhere. The atmosphere from a nearby table with parents ignoring disciplining disruptive children effected multiple tables in our section, while its not ownerships responsibility to say something, at some point someone on staff needs to address it politely.

Food is usually good. Service is SO SLOW. We walked in, got seated, and weren’t greeted for about 12 minutes. Not even a glance. Nothing. Then old dude SITS HIMSELF in the booth next us, and bugs them to clean his table and take his order. Like huh? Server came to him right away so we just walked out. It’s really frustrating. At least mini greet. Give us some water, let us know you’ll be with us in a minute. This happens every time we come here. I keep trying to give this Paramus location a shot, but I’m tired of trying.

Came to Turning Point for breakfast and had a wonderful time. First of all.... CALL AHEAD! I didn't think you could and waited 35 minutes. However, it was well worth the wait. The restaurant has a large seating area, appealing decor, and cool framed slogans throughout. My Cold Brew Coffee, with the cold foam topping was very good. I really appreciated the separate small container, that allowed me to control the foam. The Salted Caramel MochaChino was large, sweet, and could not be finished. My Warm Winter Hash was one of the best I've had! The poached eggs, when unleashed, nicely covered every crevice of the skillet. When mixed, it was incredible. This dish placed it above First Watch, which used to be my number one eatery. The Three Lemon Blueberry Pancakes were large and could not be finished. Turning Point will be at the top of my breakfast to-go list and I also discovered, that they have Turning Points throughout the entire state. Don't hesitate to give them a try and enjoy.

What a local gem! went on a Thursday for late lunch with a friend for the first time. Beautiful and inviting inside, love the decor! Staff was so friendly and welcoming with big smiles, such a nice relief from life's stress. Food was fabulous and reasonably priced compared to other chains and diners in Bergen county. I had the 1/2 and 1/2 combo which included a sandwhich on very tasty bread and turkey chili which was delicious. Service was fast and we enjoyed a leisure lunch, not feeling rushed out at all. I would highly recommend this place and will be back again soon. Thank you to the Turning Point staff and keep up your great hospitality!
