I have been to this place multiple times but reviewing it now coz it’s been the same great experience after almost 2 years since pandemic. Ordered their shrooms which is stuffed mushrooms and bruschetta with some cocktails. Moscow mule will never let you down anytime. Good place for romantic dinners….!

No complaints here. They got their thing together.Update; came back for lunch again and had the 12 Oz NY strip with Broccoli and a Michelob Ultra. I loved it.

Excellent place to dine in. Ambiance was relaxing, staff was attentive and friendly. We tried their “All Day Fix Menu” for 21.99 and the 3 courses selections were great. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place to dine and relax.

I had a wonderful experience at this location. My friend and I were looking for an affordable, yet good quality place to go out and we decided to try out Houlihans. When we walked through the door, we were warmly greeted and taken to our table. We chose to sit outside and enjoy the weather and this restaurant happened to have a quaint outdoor section on the side, surrounded by tall shrubs that shielded it from the parking lot. I ended up trying a pecan chicken salad and it turned out to be a solid choice. For starters, the salad was very large, the chicken was fried with cranberries and pecans and had a delicious crunch to it. Cranberries and walnuts were also sprinkled throughout and were mixed with a generous portion of bleu cheese. It was so delicious that it would keep me coming back for this salad alone. The service was likewise fantastic. Our waiter was pleasant and helpful. She did not rush us as she took our order and continued checking on us throughout our meal without being overbearing. The prices were affordable and Hoolihans had great Father’s Day specials, all very important at this inflationary time. I will definitely return in the future.

It is always really good! We come here on special occasions. We enjoy the outside dining particularly. I like the low cal dinners. The waiters/waitresses are always so nice.

Hello. We came Monday for Memorial Day around 4:00 for happy hour. We waited 25 minutes for a server to come to our table and another 15 for a drink to be at our table. This took 40 minutes for a drink to be in front of us. Also there was about 5 tables in the restaurant at this time. Our server was SO RUDE. Didn't say hi or his name or anything!!! Walked over with an angry face and said what are you eating. Didnt see him again till the check came. Had to bring the check to the bar to cash out because the check didn't have happy hour prices. The nice guy helping out the server was friendly and helpful. The host was so friendly as well and got us waters after I said no ones been over for 25 minutes. Food was great. Just never had such horrible service in my life- very rude and disrespectful server.

So this restaurant is walking distance from my Mom's apt complex. We went for Happy Hour which was great. I ordered the calamari, tenders and nachos and mozzarella sticks. Everything was good except the nachos didn't look very appealing and the tenders were over cooked. Overall the service was good and service is extremely important.

Since the Houlihan's in Wayne closed down, I've been missing my ribs! So, for a special treat, we went to Parsippany. Appreciated the fact that they had a very nice outdoor dining area. Ribs were FANTASTIC as usual. Service was great. Couldn't finish the full rack, so took the leftovers home and had them for work the next day - Best Lunch Ever! My husband really enjoyed his salmon. Everything was excellent.

This place really has been going down-hill even from before the pandemic . Since the pandemic major staffing shortage in kitchen and among waitstaff (my opinion ). Service is always slow and food has been on decline for three years or so. Tonite it took one-hour to get a simple chicken sandwich and the place was less than half-full. They were nice enough to comp the sandwich due to the extensive wait . The sandwich tasted good , but the baked potato was beyond horrible . It literally tasted like what I would expect poison to taste like. The taste was so bad I drove directly to Target to buy a candy bar to get the taste out of my mouth. The baked potato looked like a blob of moosh. The attached photo is deceiving . I do feel sorry for the restaurant because they obviously are struggling . This is one of the last few Houlihans in NJ hanging on for dear life .

Always loved Houlihans in the past, so we stopped by and it sid not disappoint. The restaurant was clean and the the staff was excellent. The prices are good in comparison to a lot of local places. I had the bbq burger and my son had chicken parm. The food came out quickly and was cooked to perfection. I requested a medium on my burger and it was spot on. If byrgers in bbq style are something you like, then this is a winner. The bacon was crisp and not overcooked. My son's parm was great. The breasts were not beat to death and were not overcooked. We both had a dessert.. brownie and vanilla bean cheesecake. I would suggest both.

Came here based off birthday email for the first time. Impeccable service from the new girl Katrina who took care of us! $5 happy hour drinks (we got the Moscow mule and Bahama Mama, which were both excellently made) with the steak fajitas and chicken wings with Thai Chile. The fajitas came out piping and sizzling hot. We favored the chicken the most tonight. But overall, excellent service, food, and bev all around! Would recommend.

What a great Mother’s Day! The bartender was great. We got our usual fish tacos and rosemary chicken well done. Busy but this was on point!
