I came here for the first time yesterday on a Sunday and I ordered ceviche with shrimps and chicken barbeque with salad . It comes with rice but I. chose the salad. They give you a lot of food. I ate half and saved half. The service is good and atmosphere. The place does not look like much from the outside, but the food is delicious here. ¡Que Buenisimo! This place is amazing, the portions are huge, the flavor is huge, the purple corn drink is REALLY GOOD! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. I have no idea how they make that yellow sauce, but everytime I'm practically licking the plate clean. Definitely try this place outParking: Parking lot right next to building

The food is too bad, it's not what it was before, the seafood soup doesn't taste like anything, they only add small obio shrimp, squid, and two other pieces of octopus that are barely visible, it was missing clams, crabs and it was a seafood soup, Attention, the owners do not act crazy so as not to lose what is left of what was a good restaurant.

Somehow, the restaurants on or adjacent to Main Ave leave much to be desired. Maybe this place caters to locals who know what to order; I got what I thought would be a whole broiled fish, but it was breaded and fried and not what i was expecting, especially since they offer breaded, fried fish on the menu, i was surprised when mine came out the same way. They have a number of dishes described as "spaghetti" with different protein choices, but it was like weird, unsettling lo mein. Anyway, I promise you can find better eating options close by and that you'll be disappointed if you eat here. Also, I hate when the servers seem to be laughing at you for choosing to dine at the establishment where they work...

Quick service and good portion size/food for the price point!
We were the last customers of the night and loved our food as always.However, my husband noticed he forgot his card and tried to call the restaurant, but no answer. When he tried again the next day, he saw an alert someone using his credit card.It would’ve been nice if the server caught us to give the card since we were still outside talking before getting in our cars in the front. Or the server could’ve saved the card for us to pick it up, but instead they used it. Husband was able to turn off card before any new purchases.Again, I love the food but I’ll go another El Chevere moving forward.

The owner there is very rude. They took the order wrong and blamed it on me. I tried to explain the issue and his worker got involved in the disagreement. There kitchen is disgusting and they have sewer line back ups constantly. I have worked there but the guy feels he deserves better all the time. Charged me $93 dollars when I reviewed the bill he mentioned I ordered the wrong thing yo speak in Spanish. Never again rather to the other Chevere

I honestly really loved this restaurant. And I am not giving them 1 star on food because I want to bring the restaurant down, I want them to see this and regain their past glory. Their food used to be amazing!! I truly felt at home there. Unfortunetly, after the pandemic, many restaurants went through many hardships. Looks like this location suffered alot and I hope they can get back on their feet soon. The staff is always friendly and the environment is cozy and lively. The food that's being offered as of 2023, can really be better. They have been amazing in the past, and I know they can do it again.
