The service here is awesome. The food used to be fabulous. IDK if they had a bad day or what, but the meats arepas AND the ripe plantains were tough and burnt! How do you make ripe plantains tough? I've eaten here many, many times, and this was the first time that it wasn't even mediocre. It seemed as if they put EVERYTHING (except the beans and rice) on a grill on super high flames just to not attend the food.Horrible!

From bad to worse, I ordered 3 soups to take away: a chicken stew, a rib stew, and a tripe.I come home and the chicken sanchoco with fish flavor, a wing, a small cob and half a dadThen I open the rib and the same thing: 1 single rib, half yuca and pure brothWhat a lack of respect for customers who choose your restaurant but are not intelligent, customers lose.If you don't have scrambled eggs for the sancocho, don't sell it and that's it, or say there isn't any.

I'm Colombian and I know real good Colombian food because I'm from the best part PAISAAA lol anyway this place has really good empanadas and they are hearty. There is more beef and potatoes and they are super cheap only $1.50. That's old school price ! Great place. Home vibe. Food is good. They do not cheap out on the food. Made fresh to order. A must try. The neighborhood is not sketchy at all. Its a hardworking Hispanic neighborhood. A must try

The food was awful and I was really disappointed. The steak was dry, over-cooked, and needed flavor. The rice was decent. The arepa was dry and stale and cheese needed salt. I ordered the bunuelo but instead they gave me a croissant, I wish they would’ve called me and told me they don’t have bunuelos anymore, I would’ve preferred to take it off the order than receive the croissant. The flan was the worst flan I ever had in my life. I was shocked they actually served it to me. It looked and tasted like it was at least 1 week old.

Great taste and amazing service. Correita (the owner) is a really nice guy. Whether you go for breakfast, lunch or dinner, the food is always good and the staff always welcomes you with a smile. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to eat Colombian food. I'm Colombian and live in Paterson, right around now, this spot has the best empanadas. I get them often and only 1 time they disappointed and just filled them with potatoes, but other than that they have had a nice balance of meat and potatoes! Enjoy! Call ahead and they will be freshly fried for pick up.

Is a small place but the food is really good, the servers are so kind, nice and attentive. I have tried different dishes and all of them are really good, prices are reasonable. Excellent place for breakfast or lunch and to try the authentic Colombian food. Omg explosion of my taste buds. I often have bandeja paisa from all places, but this is the best quality by far. The amount they serve is awesome and you can easily share with another person. The food tastes so fresh and I can't believe how delicious and homemade it tastes.

You can't compare the 5-star friendly vibe, welcoming staff and delicious home-coiked Colombian fare in this super casual place to a 5-star Michelin eatery. But this restaurant is well worth your time. Loved our fried chicken lunch plates. Even our Dominican friends thought the chicken was moist and yummy. Good pinto beans and rice, delicious plantains. Big portions, bargain prices!

No. Breakfast was not good, scrambled eggs, no, it can’t be eggs.( black eggs, dirty oil or bad cooking salten/ pan) Salt is extra.Worse coffee you can get.But attention was ok. Carne Molida is good. And a friend of mine said she has soups there before and they are good. Take and chance, sometimes chef is off and another take over, me, I won’t be going back. New owners?? Maybe, but that coffee in paper cups need to go. And an emergency update to this restaurant needs to be in place ASAP, and I clean and new mop !! Dirty, sucio el lugar…good luck!
