My family and I enjoyed the food. The Pad Cashew Nuts was delicious! My kids liked their chicken skewers, Thai fried rice, bubble tea and lemonade. Yeah it's pretty much a done deal for Clifton Thai ...I walked into this tiny spot in Paterson and didn't expect much but took a chance !! What !!!!! It was so good I will never go back to my neighborhood Thai spot again ..... the pad Thai was so much better this place doesn't look like much but DAMN it's phenomenal I'll be back ..... get up and go get you some ASAP

The food tastes amazing! I ate red curry with tofu and drunken noodles with tofu. Was very impressed! 4 stars was given because it didn’t have too much tofu (5 pieces) and the rice quantity is too little. I finished all the rice and still had 1/3 the curry left. For the taste I would definitely recommend and come back!Vegetarian options: Tofu as a protein.

We really wanted to like this place. The aesthetic is modern and feels very Thai. The food however was a miss. First they got our order wrong and secondly it just wasn't good. I ordered the Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodle) and asked to get it "Thai Hot" but it wasn't authentic Thai spice. They basically just covered the noodle in chili flakes, which ended up just being crunchy.

I ordered chef’s recommended Pad Cha Talan and requested the server to swap squid and mussels with chicken and to make it a spice level of medium. I confirmed that the dish would be dry. And so I placed the order. When I got home and started eating, my mouth burnt cause the spice level was more than 10/10. Also, there were no string beans and the dish was liquidy. I had to discard the entire dish after 2 bites cause the heat was way too much. The only flavor the dish had was that of chillies. Very unfortunate cause I went looking at reviews and ended up throwing it away and starving! Hopefully the restaurant manager or owner reads this and refunds my money.

This place is definitely a solid 3 stars. We got to go from here abd everything was pretty decent. The portion size was decent but wished they weren't so stingy with the rice. Thai food goes so well with those white jasmine rice! More rice should be given for sure.We had the early bird special yellow curry with tofu. This came with a appetizer, drink and a dessert. The curry decent but thought it wasn't as flavorful as other Thai places. We picked the taro custard and that was delicious! They forgot our spring rolls with our to go order which was very unfortunate.Basil udon with chicken. A bit on the sweeter side but very yum. Loads of flavor.Pad Kha Prow with beef. Very garlicky and basilly. Just how I like it. However a bit sweet and the beef was too dry.Overall this is a solid spot. I wouldn't mind coming here to try more items

I've ordered from Gub Khao on Uber Eats numerous times - delivery is usually quick and the food always arrives hot. The dishes here are authentic and so good! I'd say the food is even comparable to Thai food in Elmhurst (Queens). Who would've known this gem is hidden in Paterson??Love that they have northern Thai options on the menu as well. The faves in my ordering rotation are the Tom yum fried rice w/ shrimp, curry puffs, pad see ew, nam tok w/ beef and sticky rice, and taro pearls in coconut cream for something sweet! I'm happy to report that spicy actually means SPICY here and they use all the right herbs and veggies in their dishes. I hope to visit in person one day!
Have ordered via UberEats a bunch of times. Quick delivery. Everything was very good and fresh each time. Good vegetarian options (mock duck and tofu options) great curries. Great heat level options. Definitely will keep going back.

Food came out very fast. Its a very small space with only the 4 seater tables. The decor is not bad but they do have a bit of visible mess. There is no ambiance bc there is no music. I ordered the pineapple fried rice, curry puffs and thai iced tea. All items were tasty but nothing out of the ordinary. Would eat here again if i was in the area but for a quick dinner.

My husband went to pickup the food for our order, the floor was wet since it was a rainy day and he slipped upon entering. He just had a knee surgery, and the lady saw him slip and ignored him not even bothering to make sure that he was ok. No signs of a wet floor or anything. This is our first time ordering from this restaurant, and for this reason only we will never get food from here again.
