Went for a colleague's celebration. Upon walking in this place is really pretty with lots of faux grass and florals everywhere. Brunch was late--415-615, which was a 1st for me. During that two hour window you get bottomless mimosas and rum punch (they really do come around often, never allowing you to get to the bottom of your glass lol), and as many trips to the buffet as you like. The music was mostly Latin which was to be expected, but the DJ did mix in some R&B and Afro Beats, which I appreciated. The volume was pretty loud so you did have to raise your voice, or lean in to speak directly into someone's ear. But that didn't bother our table of 12, we were there to celebrate, so the vibes were cool. At about 6, we saw quite a few workers breaking down the buffet setup and then bringing in couches from the enclosed patio area. So someone at the table ordered hookah so that they wouldn't force us to leave at 615 as they are pretty strict with the 2 hour time limit. I tried: the cabbage salad-good white rice (before I saw the other rice option)-good rice and beans-really good stewed chicken-really good white fish-really good in flavor but condensation made it a lil soggy Others at the table had: stewed pork-good pancakes-good spaghetti-good crumb cake-good chocolate cake-good Apparently they very recently had dancers who would get everyone on the dance floor, but they were MIA yesterday, or they're not a thing anymore. Overall, it was a good time! It's a lil far of a drive for me, so I would only return for a special celebration. Food 8/10, Service 10/10, Ambiance 10/10

Decent place. Had several beers and an appetizer at the bar. They added 18% to the bill which I hate. However when I tip a bartender for drinks it always comes out to about 25% or more. Say $1 or $2 dollar on average on a $4 beet. So instead of being pissed, I gave them the 18% although they would have gotten more if I figured a tip myself. I know latins are the worst tippers so they need to add. It's Paterson let's face it. The clientele is probably cheap and don't tip well.

Was looking for a place to go celebrate my wife's birthday and we usually go to the Mamajuana near us but for today we wanted to head to a different one. So we went as a party of 6, the service was not on par with the other locations my server was nowhere to be seen for half of our duration, but what I was really disappointed about was the fact that we were all drinking mimosas and not one of us felt like they has alcohol. For the price of $45 per person, you'd expect to tales be served mimosas with alcohol, which we believe was not the case, also to our disappointment was the fact that they did not have any platanos, tostones, but at least they had mangu. There are better places than this spot for brunch and will not be returning here for a second time.

If I was able to give 0 stars I would off this was my fav place until things change I came yesterday for drinks and it was not even 10 they was removing table for like a club type of night hey not bad but have someone to manage the place they usually had a handsome guy with grey hair I could honestly say he would off make sure everything was organized and nice and in order and he would off check on people the reason why I gave 1 star because I felt so bad for the girl bartending she was moving fast while the other bartender was like loss not knowing it was a straight disaster i feel like if they bringing the old vibe club vibe they need a manager there to make sure everything running smooth like bar floor etc I left because is crazy to wait for a drink is a good place to go but my honest opinion they need a actual manager for days like yesterday

Great place for birthday party. Buffet was awesome. Service also friendly. Outdoor sitting is huge plus. Vallet parking $10. Hookah available. DJ was awesome too but too loud to have a conversation so be warned.

Showed up last minute no reservations for Sunday brunch. The staff was very accommodating. The service was great and the food was amazing and tasty. Overall a great brunch experience. Island rhythms and home cooking.

My family and i had reservations for 11 people on Sunday 2/18 to celebrate a birthday. The music was insanely Loud for a Sunday at 4pm. If it was Saturday evening and this was a dinner lounge i would understand. There should be some type of heads up when people make reservations that it's nightclub LOUD. I have never written a restaurant review before but felt the need to in this case because of how obnoxiously LOUD this place is. They were busy, so if we never go back no big deal for them but i just want to warn anyone that is hoping to have a nice family dining experience, this ain't it. Also Valet runs a scare tactic to scam people to valet versus self parking. Upon entering the lot we found a spot and parked ourselves. There were no signs or reserved spots indicating a valet, we didn't even know they had one. When the valet saw my husband, he said the dispensary that shared the lot with the restaurant would have the car towed for being a restaurant patron and self parking (taking space from dispensary patrons). My husband went to ask the dispensary and was told no towing would be happening and to enjoy his evening. Food was ok, not horrible but also not great. Be warned, go elsewhere.
So sad to say but this place has gone downhill. I was a regular and then took a break and decided to go to check other places out ..I decided to go back last night and was disappointed.The food was ok but what alarmed me the most was the service at the bar and how filthy the glasses were that they were serving the drinks in .I ordered a sour amaretto the glass was only 3/4 of the way full and very dirty we asked for a glass to pour our beer it looked like it was just rinsed off and given to us we sent it back and observed them drying it with a napkin and returning it to us which we rejected .after observing the bar we noticed that all the drinks that were being served were in very dirty glasses. To make a long story short we only had appetizers and got out of there..and you wonder if that’s what we saw imagine what we didn’t see .. unfortunately this was one of my favorite places in the pass I use to come with family and friends..I don’t recommend it right now and definitely will not be returning. Dare I say new management..absolutely horrifying to see unhygienic glasses being given to people who are completely unaware.. you can’t even hold a conversation during dinner because the music is so loud..

Music is way too loud. This restaurant obviously does not care about their neighbors. The music can be heard from miles away. This is a bit absurd. Maybe have your food bring people in. If you want a latin dance club, do it indoors where you can keep the music from bothering everyone else. - edited to add-- Their music plays during nice weather when you want your windows open. Have driven past before to verify it was from this location. If it occurs this spring, I will go by and will take pictures / video.

I had no waiters waiting for my table and the reservation that was made was nothing compared to what they offered me at the time of making the reservation, the first and last time I visited.
