The food and atmosphere here are excellent! I have a thing for really good crispy Vietnamese Rolls (you know, not too greasy and fresh). They did not disappoint here. Crispy and delicious without being greasy and served with the lettuce, carrots and a delicious sauce. Also ordered the Bun Rieu Cua Dong, a really good crab noodle soup. Has such a good meal ordering some things to go before I leave. This would be a great space for a special event too; it's beautiful. Happy I discovered this place!!!

DVR has the perfect mix of classic Vietnamese dishes you can find in the states such as phở and bánh mì, and lounge food such as snails and fried meats. They are also BYOB to allow a real "nhậu" experience. We had lots of lounge food including the chân gà nướng muối ớt (crispy chicken feet), gỏi bắp bò (beef salad), nghêu nướng mỡ hành (grilled top neck clams), ốc nhảy hấp sả gừng (steamed lemongrass ginger whelk), and more. The crispy chicken feet was a huge hit. It had the perfect crisp and was spicy, salty, and sweet (personally, this is my holy trinity of flavors). I think this would be a great way to introduce chicken feet to people who haven't had it before. The beef salad was super refreshing, and I appreciated the copious amounts of beef and different vegetables, especially banana blossom. I've had chicken in this type of salad growing up but this tender beef is a game changer. Everything else was great but those were the highlights for me. The staff is very lovely and they made sure we were taken care of. The whole restaurant is modernized and clean. I highly recommend trying DVR whether you're looking for a classic Vietnamese meal or wanting to tap into the lounge experience.

Excellent service from the time you walk in. Food options and specials were explained and the server checked in to make sure he recommended dishes based on our preferences. We ended up ordering the shaking beef, water spinach and clams with minced meat. All were served promptly and were delicious. Would definitely come back.

If you're looking for a place to drink (byob), have good food, and sing some karaoke, this is your place! This place has a bunch of different foods, but I think they specialize towards the foods that are meant to have with drinks.Not many places can do escargot well, however, this place does! They have tons of options/flavors to chose from, so, if one isn't your cup of tea, definitely try another. I really enjoyed the one that was in a tamarind sauce. The sauce was perfect and I was able to use it in my side order of rice.As for the rest of the menu, I was able to sample almost all of it (as I came with a big group). We had pho, quail, snails, salads, rice dishes, scallops, and more. The quail would have to be on the top of my list for the best dish I had (although everything I had was quite delicious).I will certainly be back!

This isn't your typical Vietnamese restaurant. Yes, they have dishes that can be found in restaurants like pho and rice platters, but they really specialize in the appetizers. Wow, everything I had was delicious!!! I came with a very large party, so I had the pleasure of sampling pretty much everything. Service is really nice and very helpful in answering any questions you may have.Chicken pho - so fresh and broth was so smooth. The chicken was tender and steamed perfectly.Quail - flavorful! Season and grilled perfectly.Snails - I tried so many different ones. My favorite was definitely the one in coconut sauce. My mom struggled bad with these though and couldn't get out the meat, so unless you're skilled with eating these, I wouldn't recommend.Salads - I tried the beef carpaccio along with beef salad. Beef carpaccio here isn't the best I had, but the regular beef salad was delicious!! The salad had a nice crunch to it and the beef was so flavorful.Sour leaf chicken hot pot - this was my first time trying this dish and will not be my last. Broth was so light and extremely flavorful. From looking at it, you wouldn't think so, but I was pleasantly surprised.Sizzling steak platter - pork meatball in the dish was a tad dry, but was tasty. Steak and peppers were flavorful. This is served with a loaf of bread.I can't wait to be back. Going to go on a night of karaoke!

My wife and I have made our second visit there the sizzle beef and fried rice is a great pick for anyone also washing it down with cold green tea is recommended finishing with cold chocolate coffee was cherry on top ,scenery very very nice will have to go at niteand see what happens on the stage .

Snails and authentic Vietnamese dishes! Everything is very good. Their bo ne, bun bo hue, com dac biet and oc are exceptional. Finally...no need to go to California or all the way to Vietnam for snails! Friendly service too! Plenty of parking by Sun Seng supermarket. Big tables for groups or for a couple to feel like royalty.
