First visit since new owners took over a few years ago - the entrees we all had were excellent - good portions - high quality . However , the bread was of poor quality and the place has not much curb appeal - bright lights - small tables - service was not great - they totally forgot my wife's dinner - she had to eat hers after we were all done . I would probably do take out next time . Food is 4 or 5 stars - the ambiance and service a 2 .

Pizza Man @ Pompton Plains Friends have recommended this place and we definitely wanted to try it since I heard their seafood dishes are amazing !!!! Unfortunately, there were only two of us and there was a limit to how much we could try, and I completely missed the menu from Fish section .... Because we wanted to order the fresh clam in white sauce over linguini !!! Instead, we ordered Cavatelli alla Ripini from the Pasta section and Hawaiian pizza. Both were really good and the Cavatelli was sooo chewy and pleasant texture. We will definitely come back to try the clam in white sauce over linguine - since Alladin, the owner, mentioned that it was his favorite !!!!! And another one we plan on ordering ... the large portion ($34) Zuppa di Pesce !!!!! Seafood all the way !!!

5:30 pickup for superbowl and didn't get my food until 630. I understand completely that it's a busier day for certain businesses but being told a couple minutes longer at 5:30 to end up not getting it until 6:30 and later pickup orders be fulfilled before mine when I only had 3 cheese pizza. Pizza was good just not worth the wait. The counter girl was nice and ordered drinks for the wait but no I was in no need of drinks so kindly denied the nice gesture. Maybe on a normal day this would've been a better experience

This is place is a great little hidden gem! BYOB spot! The food is delicious! Tonight we had the eggplant rollitini, the parm crusted chicken in a lemon butter sauce and the chicken francese. Everything was really delicious! We will def be ordering out and dining in again!

Had some of the best mussels marinara I have ever had. Generous portions, great pricing and phenomenal service above all. They went above and beyond. Will definitely return and would definitely recommend!
My sister and I were in town for a visit to the apothecary and found this place by chance...so glad we did! Food was delicious and very fresh! Will come back with a good bottle of wine next time!

Had been going to pizza man for over 25 years. Back then the dining area was well lit up and you literally had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. When I came today 2/3 of the tables were empty. Ordered pasta with shrimp and salad. The food was good and the salad was ample. My partner ordered eggplant parm dinner. Although the food was good the prices were high. Typically with these prices I'd expect the accoutrements of a fine restaurant. Not here. Sorry to say it's a decent pizza place. Not an eat-in restaurant. If I want a decent Italian meal for take out this place fits the bill.

Used to come here years ago and wanted to try it again. Does not seem to be nearly as good as it used to be. First, the waiter was good, and very friendly, so service wise, no problems. Got the Chicken Milanese which normally comes with arugula, but unfortunately they did not get any in their shipment that day. Rather than asking if a different green was acceptable, they just made it with iceberg and other greens. It was good, but it would have been better with arugula and I should have been able to decide if I wanted it without arugula. Also got shrimp parm, which happens to be my favorite meal to get in a pizzeria / restaurant. This shrimp parm was hands down the worst I have ever had. I personally didn't like the sauce at all, and the shrimp were so overcooked they were hard. Big disappointment. Oh, and by the way, the bathroom was disgusting, and I had to ask for paper towels. It clearly had not been maintained in quite some time! YUK! Hopefully they keep their kitchen much cleaner!
