“Really good food and atmosphere. Watch out for the automatic tip on the receipt. They didn't include it on Thursday but did on Friday. Usually I tip 20% but when places automatically add 18%, I don't tip extra when places auto tip. They also included a tip line even tho they added an auto tip lol, not falling for that trick.“
“Came here to pick up food for the second time tonight, I can say they have been absolutely amazing both times. Me and my partner got cheese flautas and my aunt got the whiskey burger. The food was exactly what we asked for and was delicious. My partner and I are vegetarian and they have lots of options for us which is awesome. Now the horchata, the large is HUGE and it is so good I didnt even want to share it lol that is how delicious it is. There was a man singing and his voice is great it made me so happy. I definitely will be coming to eat there on my birthday. This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant such a hidden gem.“

“This place was so good. We visited from out of state and now I wish I had one close to my home. Chips and salsa were amazing. Beef enchiladas were sooo good. “Have had this place multiple times. Boneless wings were very good. Usually get a burrito or bowl either Nashville hot or ghost pepper. I would suggest this place has an alternative for Qdoba Chipotle or moes. Good food is reasonably priced.“
“OMG! I live in the area and I decided to order on a whim! I should start with I love Mexican food but this was beyond my expectations. I ordered the three taco platter (which is dairy free by the way) . I ordered the pork! It was absolutely delicious! I also ordered the guacamole and I wasn't sure because it did not say homemade but it was and it was a very generous portion (they used at least two avocados) and also delicious! Very impressed! I have tried to get good Mexican food on the South shore and by far this is the best! It is a little pricey as the three tacos, guacamole and chips with tip came to $36.00 but again it was delicious!“

Maybe a little more salt but the sopa was perfect. Churros crunchy and sweet comes with 4 and an ice cream scoop. The chocoflan is a special and they only have it sometimes. If they have it try it! I just wish they gave more salsa as we had excess chips and not enough salsa. Barbacoa chimichanga burrito was delicious and very filling. Pulled pork sliders as an appetizer were good too. Maduros were delicious. Apple empanadas were absolute favorite will definitely be ordering years with every order in the future. Only disappointing food item were the chicken tostadas. These are a staple for me at every Mexican restaurant I visit. I know each restaurant makes them different. I just didn’t prefer they were the way they were made here. This restaurant made them with chunks of grilled chicken, romaine lettuce, and shredded cheese. Overall it was a good experience. I just wouldn’t order the chicken tostadas again in the future.“

“If u want budgeted Empire Szechuan type food this is ur best option on port richmond ave. Ordered the sesame chicken/boneless rib combo with pork fried rice (instead on the pork lo mein) and a order of pan fried pork dumplings. Dumplings were cheap but way better than I had on the ave. Boneless ribs actually had meat on them. Chicken was oversauced and sweet but ok. I remember a time when it was either No 1 or Didi. Now the question has been definitively answered.“

There is parking in the rear of the restaurant, we walked in through the back and were seated right away. Cute little place looks family ran and operated with a party room upstairs. We started with the sampler appetizer and glad we did. It was so good and enough for the of us 4, it had wings, flautas, wings, & cheese quesadilla. My husband and I shared the Mocajete AMAZING!! Never had veggies mixed in the Mocajete, but to be honest it is a great addition. Portion is huge we both had lunch for the next day! My boys had the Birria tacos and chipotle creamy chicken and shrimp they were very happy with their choices. The only thing that was a little disappointing is the wait staff is more like teenagers so not very attentive; however, for the quality and flavor of the food I'll deal with it. If in the mood for some authentic Mexican cuisine you need to come here!!!!“
